Still NegaTiger with this squad because of youth.

Do they have the pieces to pull this off?

Yes.

Will they?

No.

My baby Tigers are just too young to deal with Tiger Stadium. Good things continue to happen, but the mistakes that plagued them against UGA reappear.

Again, I'll be watching and hoping for improvement. That's what this season is for me.

I predict I'll be sitting on my couch, one hand over my eyes and the other holding a stiff drink, hoping for glory and expecting a cup shot.

IE, a normal big game for Mizzou . . .

Mizzou is probably too young and inexperienced to win under the lights @LSU.

I thought they had a decent chance, but then Les Miles was fired.

I have no idea whether that will help or hurt AT ALL.

So... Mizzou loses by 10. No idea the actual score.

Mizzou 27-16

Passing game is too much for LSU (big mismatch here by the numbers) and their offense doesn't have the firepower to keep up. Fournette, if he plays, will be less than 100% and our defensive scheme is basically designed for this type of offense. Their QB is the walking embodiment of "just a guy" and their WR have been inconsistent.

If we play a pretty clean game, we win. If we lose it will likely be self inflicted.

If we have a shot, the game plan has to be to contain Fournette and force Etling to beat us in the air. We have to control the tempo and play fast, and we have to score early and take the emotion out of it - crowd and team. There talent is superior. Things will have to fall our way.

It'll be something like 24-17 or 24-21. Probably LSU with the win. But the upset wouldn't surprise me.

Good thing this is exactly the style of game we play!

Calm down Tiger Nick.

We got a shot.

I'm just not all in on this squad yet. This game could change that, but youth is hard to overcome.

I suspect as much. This seems like the natural progression for him.

TBH, I hope it is, cause he's still one of us.

With all that is going on with LSU and Mizzou being in a more or less rebuild mode. I think it depends on who controls the line of scrimmage. Which ever team wins the trenches will win the game.

Too many distractions for LSU and a hobbled RB. Plus a possible change in philosophy with a different HC, but Mizzou has improved every week on both sides of the ball. I'll take Mizzou over LSU.

Mizzou 35

LSU 21

We can win...or lose. Whatever happens won't be because of some supposed mystique of their stadium. We've won at the Swamp, Sanford, Kyle, WB, VH, Rocky Top, etc. We can win at Tiger Stadium just as well. If we lose it's because LSU was better than us for those 60 minutes.

This LSU team is going to be playing with a little extra spark under Coach O this week. Even so, the offensive scheme can only change so much in one week. Because it is here at night and because of the events of the last week, Im gonna say LSU gets out to an early lead and ends up fighting off the Missouri Tigers late, 28-24... (I took Mizzou +13.5 and the under 53.5). See ya'll Saturday

I'm expecting a loss.
27-17

They could win.
But they're young.
It's night at Baton Rouge.
And the crowd and LSU will be in a frenzy.
If they can weather the first half, they could win.

They're a confident group.

Led by a confidant man.

They're salivating over this opportunity. They know.

They feel 'soon' just like we do.

I expect them to fire on all cylinders and literally embarrass these fricking half retards.

37-17

I feel like we are going to lose in the night lights of death valley.

Although i cant see how we score less than 14 and lsu scoring more than 10. Doesn't add up but i've been a tiger fan for 35 years and this is my coping mechanism.
