Not my point. My point is most high school athletes that have high profile scholarship offers are not going to a school that does not produce NFL caliber players at their position. Nebraska produces lineman, running backs , linebackers, and a DB now and then. WR's at Nebraska do not get the coaching to get to the next level. Except for blocking down field.

WR at LSU dont catch passes yet Landry and Odell tied each other, and set the record for most receptions in their first two years.

Mizzou has been putting DL kids in the league, we've landed two highly sought after DL kids in that span. (Not counting Byers and Elliot)

And Mizzou isnt putting WR in the league either. Its been a long fricking time to a 17 year old kid since Jeremy Maclin.

LSU has great WR's every year. Horrible QB's but great WR's. Their WR coache can coach them up and get them to the next level. Their QB coach cannot.

None of them made a name for themselves, yet. I mean if we're gonna count all participation ribbons as an accomplishment.....Bill Self pumps out highly successful NBA prospects like nobody else.

I never said go to Missouri. I am just saying why Nebraska for the WR's. If you have Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State, etc giving you scholarships how are the Nubs more attractive?

Nebraska is an all-time top 5 program, some, a lot of bad years doesn't take that away from them. Its like saying when UCLA was terrible in hoops that they lost their prestige, or when Bama was terrible, they were no longer a blue blood program. It really doesn't work like that no matter how much we hate them.

Nebraska isn't a blue blood to any recruit about to graduate high school. Nebraska has basically had 1 really good season in their life's.

Lol okay. Keep thinking that. Difference is these kids for relationships with coaches and tour better program and facilities. These things matter to kids. When you walk in to NU and see all of their accomplishments and see 80k for a spring game, then walk in to Mizzou and tour the laundry room and see 5k for a spring game regardless if we won 12 games or 2 the previous year. Then you'll understand recruiting and prestige. being 0-4 in CCG doesn't elevate your program and not winning a natty in a while doesnt devalue your program. Truth of the matter is Nubraska has been a lot closer to winning a CCG than Mizzou even during their downward trend.

"Hey kid we were really good in the 50s and 60s"---Mizzou

"Hey kid we played for a BCS title in 2001"---Nebraska

see the difference?

Jalen Knox TX 3-Star RB commits.

"I'm going to play slot receiver and take some handoffs out of the backfield too. They'll use me on sweeps and reverses. Just get me the ball any way they can," Knox explained. "I bring a whole lot of speed and electric plays to the field."

OD track:
He ran the 100 in 10.66 seconds.
The 200 in 21.54 seconds.
And the 400 in 52.00 seconds.

He sounds like he will be versatile like Marcus Murphy.

Very nice pickup. This guy can boogie. I envision he'll be used alot like JJ is now and they are very similar players.

Had Baylor, Boise St and Illinois offers.

This is why you don't melt about a kid like Brown.

Gabe said this will be a busy day for Mizzou, no longer a member, so I assume he means more than one recruit expected?

Why are you comparing Mizzou to Nebraska in the discussion of bluebloods. Neither school is.
It's been 20 years since Nebraska was great. Alabama, USC, OSU can all boast to have as good or better facilities with success in the lifetime of a recruit. Nebraska can not.

Once a blueblood always a blueblood. That status isnt fluid in any sport, this isn't a debate. Are you in your early 20's or something? Nebraska is a top 5 all-time program, period.

If UNC hoops gets slammed by the NCAA and misses the tourney for 8 straight years, they're still going to be a blueblood.
