While GP struggled in his first 3 years, the situation is very different. BO has a team that has gone to the SEC championship twice in the last 5 years. I like BO and really hope he gets it together this year.2 years ago, BO had a top rated defense and squandered it while the offense became top rated. If he can manage to get the two together, he will be here a long time. But since we know the tools are there, if he can't get them together he is not a good head coach. Then we should look elsewhere.
If we don't win 6 this year, we will have the same issues next recruiting season when all the top in state recruits will look elsewhere. The cycle will continue and we won't climb up the hill.

That kind of ignores the recruiting issues since the move to the SEC. Mizzou basically left Texas, which is were so many key players under GP came from. The roster turnover and attrition of the last 4-5 years has been way too high.

BO inherited a team that went 5-7 and alienated a HUGE portion of the fanbase with a bullshite protest.

The coach after GP should have inherited a pretty solid footing, but unfortunately he did not.

I bet Foster becomes a 4* soon, and also gets at least one of his 4* friends to join.

Rob Cassidy, a national analyst for Rivals has said that he spent lots of time with Trout, Thompson, Perkins and Babb at the camp last weekend in STL. According to him the feeling he got from those 4, is that they all want to come to Mizzou. But that they won't if The team has another year like the last 2.

That's good news. I feel Mizzou will do very well this season. I really want Trout, Thompson, and Babb. Perkins too!

This is why it's very important to get AT LEAST 7 wins this year. Preferably 8-9.

I saw on a Okie site that Perkins has told them that they have a very good chance of getting him and USC have become a dark horse even though they just recently offered.

In the top 9 for Kamryn Babb.

This kid is truly special. He's an elite talent. Would be a huge boost if we could grab him.

How is Nebraska in the top 10 for / and getting quality WR's? They have never been a passing program and except for Irving Fryar I cannot remember one WR that has gone to the NFL.

How? Because its recruiting. What you do in college means diddly to the NFL. They watch tapes of your college games to see technique and potential, they couldn't care less if you catch three passes per year.

I saw an Illinois site and their writers rub it in over Tilmon, then say he sucks when their bag man fell short.....so in short. it means nothing.
