FWIW, predictions on 247 are starting to trend in the Tigers favor for Eron Gordon. Maybe we can land both him and Dembele?

MR seemed to have some strong words about the results in basketball and baseball. Hell even football this last year. It will be interesting to see if they're just words or if he'll back it up and start demanding results again. First up....baseball and TJ. On deck.....hoops and KA. Baseball could be this year but doubtful. Basketball obviously not until after next year.

The 247 Crystal ball prediction for both Dembele and Gordon are trending toward Mizzou

Personally I'd take Dembele and Hicks over Gordon, or ideally just Dembele. Idk that we need another short guard.

I wouldn't freak out over missing out on this guy. Based on scouting reports and recruiting profile I was expecting him to maybe have a first year impact similar to what J3 had. 6 points and 6 rebounds.

Almost have to play a 4 guard lineup with guys like Jackson and Barnett as the 4th guard/2nd big.
Then hope to get 25-30 minutes from the combination of Smith/Wood/Nikko.

I thought he would have started, and developed into perhaps the best player on the team by his sophomore or junior season.
I just don't think 1 player is make or break for the program. Even though he fit a big area of need.

I'm just trying to figure out why Jared Ridder hasn't been offered in the 2017 class. He is a big wing with great touch.

I wouldn't call it freaking out and the problem isn't missing out on this kid. The problem is the missing out on everyone.

i wouldn't say Barnett has guard skills if you're counting him in a 4 guard set. Unless he developed the skills, his game is from 10-12 feet in. Does he have the size for that? Dunno

Supposedly Barnett has worked on his game and is a very solid 3 point shooter. He's basically the same size as Puryear.

Personally think the key guys for next year will not be the freshmen. If Mizzou is relying heavily on freshmen again next year, we will see another year of 10-12 wins.

We'll see another 10-12 win season regardless. Luckily it should be the last one with KA at the helm.

Really depends on the development of the second year players.
But odds are that we are discussing a new coach at this time next year.

I'll believe it when I see it. Never was a strength in high school.

This has been the downfall of the KA regime here. He's had to go pretty far down his list to fill his classes.

All we have is freshmen and sophomores. So we're going to be relying on freshmen and sophomores.
