Yeah, full on scramble mode now. This would be funny if not so depressing.

Might be better off not using another scholarship. Then have 3 available next year

Yes, no point to use it just to use it.

Should be looking for a grad transfer point guard.

There's a German black guy who might be available.

Shamberger, I believe.

It's an SEC rule, if you bring in a 5th year guy they have to finish their coursework for that year. Shamburger stopped going to class as soon as the season was over, so it's a 2 year ban from that point.

He's probably going to A&M anyways.

Sounds like Corprew might have grade issues. PM gives us a 10% chance on Dembele and Corprew. Said staff is working to identify new targets, aka scrambling.

At least they are only scrambling for 1 scholarship, and that is planned on using as a guard. A position that there are more options than a big man.

So we will have two players over 6'7" next year? And they'll both be FR?

Yep, that's been the Kim Anderson plan the whole time he's been here.

Gant, Woods, Smith, & Nikko are all over 6'7.

The last really good Mizzou team only had 2 guys over that height. Although next year won't be a good team. It's going to take major player development just to be good enough for KA to keep his job for year 4.

The last Mizzou team that had only 2 guys over 6'7 won 30 games.

I have so lost track of hoops I couldn't even tell you who's in the 2016 class versus the 2017 class.

That team had 4 borderline NBA guards. Next years team won't have 1. Phillips and Walton I guess might develop into that level, but they are a couple years away from that possibility

Being a pretty big NBA fan myself, I don't see anyone on the current roster who has a shot at the NBA. The skill level and athleticism at that level is unreal.
