Anderson Feels Good About What Tigers Accomplished in July Recruiting

Yes, that is the headline for the article.

Funniest line of the article?

rising senior Ryan Rosburg

Is Walentik just a schill for the program? I haven't really followed him or his writing before.

It's just an honest answer that applies to every coach out of the top 20, Run away with a sound bite as you wish.....

Ryan Kriener a PF from Iowa. Mizzou offered him last week. Committed to Iowa.

Should help in the Cook recruitment.

Thats the 2nd PF in the class already, got to think that helps us with Cook. Word on PM is that they might want 3 big guys, but that's a lot in one class. Hopefully we land Cook.

And that stud transfer was nearly a Mizzou pick out of HS.

Update from Rockmnation.

Among the highlights.
It does look like the staff maybe did cool on Sneed, or had other as more of a priority. Righ or wrong will be seen.

Sounds like Mizzou is in a good position for T. Cook, expect him to commit to his school this fall September or October.

If A. Cook commits Mizzou may take 3 bigs this class as he would both be a junior and has the ability to play on the wing. Obviously someone will have to transfer out to take 3 recruits.

Jontay Porter to Washington. May or may not mean anything, and there is obviously a long way to go with him but.....

Thats crazy, and certainly doesn't help us with Michael. KA needs to show massive improvement this season for us to have any shot at all.

How desperate is Lorenzo?

First thought that went through my head was that the odds of KA landing Michael just went through the floor. I was hoping that having their dad, aunt and sisters coaching/playing at Mizzou would give KA a leg up. Apparently it's not enough of a leg up for KA.

Lots of time and he may change his mind but what it does tell us immediately is what they think of KA and Mizzou.

Lorenzo is Michael's (not sure about Jontay) godfather. Jontay will be a solid recruit will help UW. Obviously awfully early but not sure it's desperation.

Giving a rising soph a commitable offer is gimmicky at best. Just my opinion.

2016 wing Willie Jackson will take an official visit to Missouri on September 18, per source.

We offered JUCO wing Ar'Mond Davis. Class of 2014 unranked 3* out of Tacoma Washington. Signed with Seattle and appears to have averaged around 11PPG last year. No JUCO profile yet.

So much for that mantra of too many wings. At least we now know that is not an excuse for not making Sneed's cut.

I'm surprised we are offering so many wings this class.

Either the coaches are good at spinning missing out on Sneed, or they really did like some of the other wings more than Sneed.
