Also, not sold on Matt Adams, I really don't think he'll be the 1B at the end of the year.

I clicked on this thread in hopes of accomplishing two things
1) Seeing if we can turn this into a continuos thread about all things Cards.
2) Share my opinion that Matt Adams is garbage, the weakest link in the lineup, and say that 1st base has identified itself as the position that needs upgrade.

Offense is going to be an issue again. Little power, little speed. Weak in the middle. Needed a run producer and didn't get one. Matheny is going to have to adjust the lineup.

Adams is hot garbage. The lineup could be really strengthened by replacing him with a true middle of the order hitter. Don't see that happening anytime soon though.
