You're right and I stated that. When it comes down to it none of us do. Sorry but I'm not going to blindly take posters opinions that he extinguished all possible outlets and tried to salvage instead of just diving in head first. The proof is in the pudding, when that happens there is smoke. As I said nothing happened publicly and there were no game suspensions or anything of that nature. I'm judging based on what is available and what I've seen, I love MSU basketball but I don't love what has happened this year. I'm behind them 100% but I also can't believe that what is currently happening was completely necessary and not preventable to some extent.

Yeah, I totally don't deserve to post because I don't agree with your opinion.

Now dealing with the kids kicked off, if the circumstance is that they failed some of the tests before Ray got here and he literally had no choice that is completely different. The school has a set in stone policy depending on the number of offenses, if they are NCAA tests and not private ones administered by the staff. I just have a hard time believing that when at least one of the players wasn't even on the team until this year. Also, NCAA tests aren't very frequent so with some of the guys that was likely the case. They have to be scheduled far in advance and in accordance with the approved practice schedule that is in stone long before they set up testing.

For your information I actually do know what went on.
I think that's kind of obvious considering I know as much as I do.

If you get a minute, go check out the Q&A thread on 247. PJ is speaking truth to Bundy's arse concerning the basketball program. He's basically telling him the exact same stuff people on here have been telling him for the past few months.

23% from 3 last in the SEC 344th out of 347 D1 teams is terrible I don't care how you spin it.

Shooting 39% from the field last in the SEC and 300th in the nation.

We are only scoring 58ppg last in the SEC which reflects our poor shooting from the field.

Also we have the fewest assists in the SEC per game at 8.9 apg while turning it over 17.9 times per game.

Gotta find players who can put the ball in the hole.

no frickin shite. Why do you think that we don't want good players? And why do you always bring up stats? Did you think we were gonna be good without a point guard or center? Believe it or not, that affects shooting percentage, even from the shooting guard. You go on these rants about the basketball team, but you have yet to actually make a point.

Let me spell that for you Bundy

Starting Lineup
1-Soph. JUCO transfer
2-Freshman
3-Freshman
4-Soph. that barely played
5-Freshman

What the hell did you expect Bundy? Them to be the damn Fab Five? Or the Kentucky type players. Let the kids freaking grow up before you start throwing them other the bus. And yes I'm seriously pissed. It's ridiculous that you can't understand how that for the most part we have 5 freshman starting now. Their numbers aren't gonna be pretty the first half of the season. Look at Kentucky, they have 5 freshman that are way more talented and they are struggling for a normal Kentucky team.

Oh he's made a point. A point that he has an agenda against Coach Ray.

With no bench and no real point or center. And the freshman are freshman that came into a dumpster fire, not one and dones like Kentucky. What is there to complain about? Who doesn't want players? All we can do is support them and see what kind of class and team we have next season. Bundy will continue to cry for no reason I guess.

I mean I thought everybody had come to the conclusion that this was expected.

One thing is tho I'm glad we have Ray and not Stans. Stans wouldn't have won a game with this team.

I don't have any agenda against Ray at all, I just want to see our shooting numbers improve. There is no reason we should be one of the worst shooting teams in America. Also no reason our assist to turnover ratio is 1:2

I just want to see improvement in shooting and us going after better recruits.

Shooting below 40% from the field isn't expected nor is shooting 23% from three.

Our guys need to really work hard over the Christmas holidays on their shot and take advantage of the Mize practice center.

Well be patient Bundy. Damn it's not that hard to realize that maybe the poor shooting could be because we have 5 freshman playing significant minutes. That inexperience is huge in basketball. These are talented players but they aren't the type that can come in and play great immediately. As the season goes on those shooting numbers and turnovers will get better. By the time SEC play starts we will also have Jalen Steele back. That will seriously help. Just be freaking PATIENT.

It's impossible to argue with him. For starters, none of his arguments are based on logic, mostly all on personal emotion. When anyone makes a good point, he quickly changes the subject, usually by the way deflection, making the poster look like he doesn't want the best for the team.
Examples:
"I'm sorry I just want talented players."
"Call me crazy, but I just want what is best for this team."
"I mean I don't know about you, but I want this team to win."
"Some of the best memories of going to State were watching Stan's coaches teams."

Also lest we forget this is the same poster that started threads about firing Cohen a few years ago. Need I say more?

I think you guys may agree with this.

This season its almost like we are coming off of the death penalty or major probation. With our depleted roster with Hood and Deville transferring, Moultrie going pro, Kristers and Shaun being booted for getting high, 2 ACL injuries, a broke wrist by Steele, and a Broke patella by Lewis.

You guys have a lot more patience and are FAR more optomistic than me. I wish I was more like you guys.

Imagine Dee Bost and Brian Bryant getting a torn ACL before the season last year and think what are assist to turnover ratio would have been.

Come on you are smarter than this.

Usually the worst teams are the worst shooting teams. That's how you score.
