We all know that we are going to have some rough days ahead, and it is just plain silly if you don't set your expectations accordingly.
Our focus should be on improved play and not wins and losses. If we actually win a fair number of games, well... that's just icing on the cake.

I dont have to promote over here- we get 1.5 million views/month. People know about it
I was simply stating the same thing I said over there.

That's the thing though. You think you have to eat crow because of one game. Next game we will lose and you will come back all sad and complaining, when neither one is a reason to bitch or cheer much. Just gotta support the program this year and evaluate at the end of the season.
Exactly. This season has some downs coming- but there will be some ups also. Let it play out and let's see where we are in March after 2 seasons.

L O fricking L. You are averaging 70k a month. Anyone can look that shite up. Not surprising you would fabricate info.

I'm not trying to get into this argument -- but just on threads started in the past 24 hours, Elite has had over 20k thread views -- not counting threads that were viewed in the last 24 hours but started at a prior time -- nor counting all the hits that the front pages obviously get.
My number is just by looking at thread view counts and start date/time on the first two pages of the forum. I wouldn't think 50k clicks/day is outside the realm of possibility at all...

That would be the equivalent of page views and not hits. If someone comes on one of my shopping sites and goes to 100 pages, I don't count them as 100 views.

He didn't say anything about hits...
"1.5million views/month" seems logical to assume that he meant total overall page views...

That's not correct- we are at 1.5M on the views
You can look at views per thread and see we are getting a helluva lot more than 2,500/day (which would be 75K)- we've had over 6K on the Epps thread alone today- it was at 1,200 or so early this morning

You're talking about unique visitors vs views
We get about 1,200-1,400 visitors/day last I heard...and 1.5 on the views/month
I'd like to thank Req for turning this thread into an Elitedawg thread though. Appreciate it. Had you kept your fricking mouth shut- it would have never happened

I said hits for clarity. Views are not pageviews. Views are hits.
The other thing that we don't know is what percentage of his stats are generated from bots. If he is working to clear useless bots form Russia, China, Japan, India, etc., he is probably dealing with 65% bot traffic or higher. If he is not actively blocking bots, the number would be closer to 75% or higher.
Some bots like Google, Bing, Yahoo are OK. Bots like Baidu, Yanex, etc. are OK, but they won't net you anything. Many bots are porn bots looking for inactive sites or bots looking for copyright pictures. It is generally best to block those things because they waste your bandwidth and could cost you a lot of money every month.

We've done alot of IP banning from other countries so I understand. Slick and Scooba do all that stuff

I am talking about website views vs page views. Visitors would be a completely different animal. I assume that one person coming to your site 6 times would be 6 visitors by your definition.

It will be a never ending battle as long as they can auto-generate IP addresses from a range of leased addresses.

No- Unique visitor counts that person once for that day. Now this may be the 70K number Req is referring to and our unique visitor count is about 2,400/day now. It's been steadily climbing. 2 months ago was about 1,300/day
When I say 1.5MM- I'm talking thread views maybe? Just passing along what IT tells me. He said views.
We're not Sixpack or Rant and never intend to be. And I hate this thread took the turn it did. Carry on
