I'm starting to feel like we're in a Croom situation and I RRRRRREEEEEEAAAAALLLLLLLYYYY hope that's not the case. We just gotta give our man Rick Ray time to recruit some ballers.
Thats the thing, its Eerily similar to Croom. Ray is a "good guy" who likes "discipline" and has his guys "play hard" but just like Croom he cant recruit and if you can't get ballers as you put it you can't compete and win in the SEC.
We are currently out of 14 SEC teams
13th in Points per game
14th in Rebounds
9th in FG %
13th in FT% (63% )
13th in 3pt% 29%
13th in Blocks
On a positive note we are 1st in the SEC in steals

You don't know this yet.
What point are you trying to make?
Fire Ray?
Firing Stans was dumb?
Cuz both of those arguments are fricking stupid.
Why can't you just support the bball team for a few years before you start crying about stuff we can't control.

Im just saying our basketball program is in bad shape (from the previous coach) and the new coach isn't/hasn't done much or shown improvement from year 1 to year 2. Stats dont lie just ask Engie (who im sure has a spreadsheet ready to put me in my place)

Because it sucks watching our team play. I got spoiled by the good teams and talent we had between 1995-2012

The season has barely started and we are 7-2

Well maybe I don't mind waiting because I hated watching those teams too. I'm not gonna bitch much until at least next year.

Yes, I miss all of those deep runs we made in the NCAA as well. Really good teams. Lots of talent. Great runs in the tournament. Those were the days.

Yeah...not right to call all of those years good years. 97 was pretty bad.
Posted on 12/18/13 at 4:15 pm to Eric Nies Grind Time
We had no talent in '97. That year was understandable.
We had talent in a lot of other years, and we were exceptionally lucky the SEC West was so fricking horrible during that span.
As far as running players off, I guess Bundy doesn't want to remember the quality players that went elsewhere during that span. Rob...Bert...Jack...son... clap clap... clap clap.

I didn't even enjoy watching us play when we won games. We were so poorly coached that wins sucked arse to watch, which explains the no-ncaa runs part. But that conversation has been discussed enough.

You know who was eerily similar to Croom? Stansbury.
Neither one of them had a fricking clue about running an offense. That is one of the reasons that people hated watching those basketball teams play.

You know who wouldn't like me if he read this? Woody McCorvey. He would be pissed as shite that I compared Stansbury's offense to his.
Stansbury offense flowchart.
Do you have Lawrence Roberts? If yes, feed him the ball. If no, shoot a 3.

7-2 > 4-5 at this time last year.
Chicken has made huge strides this season from last season.
Roc is very much improved.
Trivante Bloodman actually plays good offense this year.
Fred Thomas will get better. Go gain 20 pounds of muscle and see how much it effects your shot. Been there, done that.
Gavin Ware is a product of shitty post coaching. George Brooks is the only holdover from the last staff. Cause he's the only one who would stay. But he's a terrible coach.
IJ Ready is gonna be a beast.
Tyson is Tyson.
Dre' Applewhite is an all-around baller.
Jacoby Davis will find his stroke eventually.

This. And he doesn't have anyone to work against in practice. No one that can resemble a game look

I'm 5-10 and know more about playing in the post than George Brooks. It's laughable.
