I have a hard time believing our coaches tell our players to take shots 5ft beyond the arc early in the shot clock, yet some of our players keep trying to do this.

The combination of no interior depth, and the new basketball rules kill us at the moment. Has Ware had a game yet in SEC play where he didn't have 2 fouls in the first 10 minutes?

Bingo, due to the lack of both bodies and talent the best weapon a coach has for discipline is taken away from him.

We can not even sit a man down to settle his nerves much less for doing dumb shite.

Makes it no easier to watch but I believe good times they are a commin'

Pretty accurate assumption. Regardless, watching this team versus Ray's first team is lightyears difference. Or even Ray's last team for that matter. (And I was one of the bigger Ray fans) Depth is still an issue on this team much like Ray's first.

At least we have something to be upset about at the end of games. (Moral victories are fun, I know)

But we could be still watching 20 point blowout loses. At least you can easily tell we are making progress.

Actually it was 2 weeks ago I took it cause I read an article on the IQ of world leaders so I took it because I wanted to see where I stacked up

I agree it's more the players. Howland can recruit good players, I hope he turns it around. He might be just riding this season out till he gets his players in...at least I hope so because we are very undisciplined and make stupid errors.

I can handle 20 point blowout losses better than heartbreaking losses for some reason.

For example the Croom years I was just numb. When Mullen loses close games I lose my shite

We are 0-5 in the league. We were 0-5 in the same games last year.

This year, 4 of the 5 losses are by 6 pts or less. Last year, 4 of the 5 losses were by 14 pts or more.

Oh I agree completely. It's much more frustrating to watch us lose on the last possession but I just try to remember that at least we are headed in the right direction. Just think of what next year's talent will be able to do if these idiots can keep games within 6 points.

There are 12 other programs in our league that would hire Howland.

You do realize that until 2014 we would have Never been able to land a coach like him. Give him time

128 IQ. Goes something like this...

He's 30, but he is as smart as the average 38.4 year old.
