Well, I was going to say that Stephen Hawking has an exceptionally high IQ, but he doesn't know shite about basketball, and then...

I found a picture of him dunking in an International match up.

We had Kentucky and TAMU. I think we are a good team, just needs some time.

Nah, we are not a good team this year and no one should have expected us to be, lack of talent is too big to overcome.

Throwing Howland under the bus at this point is idiocy however.

That is not high enough of an IQ to mention/brag about on a message board.

I just want to state for the record that I thoroughly enjoyed the chuckle that came from reading this thread.

Oh look we lost another close game. First time to be 0-5 since 1985..even Ray's teams couldn't do that.

What a fricking shite show..18 seconds left to take the last shot and 1 timeout left and we don't use the fricking timeout to set up a play or get the ball in swords hands. Ready holds the ball until the last seconds and throws up a shite shot. I'm so sick of watching this shite...frick this team I'm not watching another game. I'm fricking done.

It's in the top 5% of test takers, but I'm sure everyone on here scores a fricking 150

You realize almost every point scored was scored by a guard, and we literally had no paint threat, right? Not sure how you think a timeout would have done anything but allow them to better defend the possession.

Do you blame Howland for us having not recruited a single serviceable big man over the last 4 years?

You don't have to have a big man to draw up a play that will open the lane for Newman or Sword to drive and score.

We took the worst shot possible with a guy who was cold the entire 2nd half

Not debating the quality of the shot. Ready screwed up, there is no debate there. We've put the ball in the hands of an upper classmen to close the last three games, and we have three losses. I would have the ball going to Malik or Weatherspoon, Sword was hot so he's fine too.

My point was you aren't going to draw up a play to get an open shot with the lineup we had. call a timeout and there is no chance we get a quality look at the basket.

Granted, had he known Ready was going to pull that shite I'm sure he would have. The man has a hard job, he can't even count on his veterans to make good decisions. The best thing about this season is that we process 5 seniors. A little over half way through the season and our freshmen are our best players, with exception maybe to Gavin.

Have you retaken it lately? Just because you scored in the 120s when you were 8 doesn't mean it still applies. IQs aren't static I'm afraid and a few years on the SECRant will do a number on your noodle. That and huffing gas.

This is one of the rare cases where I think the problem is much more the players than the coach.

We've lost several close games. In those games, fundamental player mistakes were the main issue.

I have a hard time believing our coaches tell our players to take shots 5ft beyond the arc early in the shot clock, yet some of our players keep trying to do this.

The combination of no interior depth, and the new basketball rules kill us at the moment. Has Ware had a game yet in SEC play where he didn't have 2 fouls in the first 10 minutes?
