We are playing a ton of freshman and transfers in the field. If our pitching is at least average, I think we will be okay this year. Probably a #2 seed somewhere if I had to make a prediction.

Baseball is a relatively minor sport in the college landscape and we pay so much comparatively there is really no reason to not have top coach.
If Cohen fizzles out this season Stricklin should just offer McDonnell at Louisville 800k.

Yeah unfortunately I have to agree. It's hard to cut a guy who played here lose. But come on man. Tom Hanks could coach this much talent to a regional host.

MSU baseball has top 5 fan support and we are going to have a top 5 (maybe the best) stadium in the country. No reason to not have a top coach.

All of our Starters had great outings. I think you saw what we could do at the plate, if we can couple that with good starts I think you will begin to see what everyone was talking about preseason.

I think we should be ok tonight. It looks like the weather is only going to hit for an hour. The field should be tarped. I would really like to have another warmup game before this tourney in LA.

Sorry, but no. If anyone is going to LA, pack a jacket and a sweater. It is supposed to get a bit cool this weekend, and I hear there is rain in the forecast for Sunday... yes, rain.
Besides people from MS are really bad about not packing a jacket for night games. It gets cold at night, every night, 365 days a year.

If he is still the hitting coach, he should be fired.
His teams consistently fail to score in games of any significance.
