Yeah I am 90% sure he will leave but I think he is a guy that could actually raise his draft position quite a bit with a year as a starting pitcher.

Solidifying a 4th starter could be huge for us going forward.

How much do you think Hudson "earned" by having the year that he has had? That is certainly something for Houston to consider.

If I had to guess? Probably 1.5 - 2 million or so.

I wish he would come back, but given the fact that he is a Junior, the risk is too high to come back in hopes of reaching the 1st Round IMO.

Agreed. I don't think he will come back either. I just hope 2 out of the 3 of Rooker/Kruger/Lowe come back.

There is no chance Hudson comes back. Likelihood is very low even for Houston, but I sure wish he would.

It's just shite because there is no way to predict which juniors will leave and which won't. There are too many examples just over the past few years from State.
Hell, look at Brandon Woodruff. He was fricking garbage his junior year and still left and got paid.
