Peters and Lewis will be 5*, Deddrick Thomas will be 4* and a few other guys like Bates, Champion and Virigl very well could get 4* as well.
I think we will end up top 15 but no worse than 20.

Agreed...

Interesting on Javon Patterson.

Probably just a visit high -- but love what he's saying nonetheless...

If it were to somehow happen I would probably be more excited about Patterson than Lewis.

Agreed we need help at OL. We are really good and deep at LB but Leo is one of those program changing LB'ers

Also on the main recruiting page there is a Bama fan who said his friend has been telling him for weeks that Peters and Leo would go to MSU together and called Leo decommitting FWIW

The articles I've read really make me wonder how far we have gone to keep this all under wraps. All of these commitments were essentially scheduled to go off this weekend. Spivey and Peters had apparently been a done deal for months.

With all of their confidence in Leo, and everyone's confidence in Adams, it makes me wonder if and when they are set to pull the trigger.

Worked out with DB's and WR's. Everything I have read says that he is just really good with the ball in his hands, have to think he ends up on that side of the ball.

I'm not sure. Saying first shot will be at WR...

We've done pretty good at converted QBs that we take early, some of which didn't make much sense on the front end(McKinney, Dez Harris, Lewis, probably about to be Gabe Myles), so we'll see.

On the surface, he doesn't have a clear-cut role though...

Still kind of surprised we took Spivey.

So...if we finish out with:

Leo Lewis
Jalen Bates
Gabriel Campbell
Fletcher Adams
Mark McLaurin
Jamal Danley
Some other OL I am assuming

That puts us at 32. I am guessing the staff does not have a lot of faith in getting Jawon Pass now, so we are not getting Khane.

I read, I think on 24/7 with Paul agreeing, we may take more than what we originally thought. Paul kind of hinted that there may be some processing going on this next offseason. If you're an upperclassman and you're buried on the depth chart, you might be fighting for your spot on the team.

I think it's obvious at this point that they knew we already had Peters. With that known, I think they told Khane to look around and pretty much conceded being in the running for Jawon.

A lot of people are pretty high on the kid from Laurel too and he's already a State lean from what I understand.

I don't care what anyone is saying or what they've heard. You always got a shot at a recruit if his older brother is on your team. I still say it's dumb as hell not to take him. Especially with how big this class is going to be.

Instead of who?

ETA: I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, because I was on that boat for a long time, but just curious...

So, Newman's latest tweets basically makes it seem the package deal with Diamond Stone is dead...

That's looking better and better for us...
