Is this one of those "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" analogies.

Yeah. If UK doesn't get killed this year, we'll be stronger next year. Can't get much weaker. Joker Phillips completely decimated the program. We'll have trouble holding the big boys under 60.

I look for Spurrier, Richt and Franklin to run it up. It's going to be another long year.

Losing to WKU just let the air out of any momentum that Stoops brought to the team. Now he is going to have to fight hard to keep his players motivated.

UK's loss helps....alabama lock up matt elam

We're still getting Elam.

And for the OP. A win would've been far more beneficial and this is just another setback. Unless you're rooting for the other team I suppose.

I'm so glad no SEC team was smart enough to hire Bobby Petrino.

You could easily change your username to MSUDawgsFAN with that kind of spin ability.. You lost, your schedule is a nightmare, Phillips left the cupboard pretty bare (I fricking hate that cliche ) and you dont have an SEC quarterback... Stoops will do great things at UK but they arent going to happen on the field this season.

Losing to the Sun Belt

That Sun Belt team does have the best coach in college football coaching them now.

Yes, I think Petrino is that good and probably the best coach in football on gameday.

While I have zero complaints about Gus and think he has done great since he was hired at AU, BMFP would have been a supperior hire as far as a football coach goes.

Dude is about the best in the college business and is an NFL level coach in all honesty (even though he did piss on the Falcons).
