For if anyone thinks he is something when he is really nothing, he is only fooling himself. Each person must examine his own actions, and then he can boast about his own accomplishments and not about someone else. For everyone must carry his own load.

Losing to WKU will only help the Kentucky Wildcats this season. The players must go back and do some soul searching. This loss will force them to want to change. Mark Stoops and the coaching staff will be prepared to do whatever it takes for this team to win football games. The summer is over and there is no more time to talk. UK will bounce back this week but the road is going to get much tougher. This loss is what the team needs to put them in the right frame of mind to work each and every day and cling to the process of hard work and dedication.

This team will change

If I was Kentucky fan, I suppose I'd resort to this line of thinking as well. It's that, stop being a fan or go fricking insane.

I totally agree. 0-1 is better than 1-0. :coco2:

Look on the bright side though. Kentucky is so irrelevant that no one even cared or noticed that you lost.

Also you should be happy since WKU is your actual school.

Great example of "loser mentality".

UK has to do the little things right before they can win. If we do that the big things will take care of themselves and we will see the wins come.

Losing to the Sun Belt is never a good thing. Ever. I still want to vomit everytime someone references ULM.

Kentucky must have the mentality that they want to come out and dominate at the LOS and win every down.

Did last year's losses not force them to want to change?

Elam will still go to UK, regardless of how this season turns out.

They did change last year. They quit on the coaching staff and gave up. The difference is that they don't want the same thing this year. They want to do what's right and commit to Stoops.

What I'm saying is that they should have had that mindset before WKU. It shouldn't take a loss to motivate a team. Especially one as shitty as UK.

No doubt. Thats why SC is so good now. After 116 years or so of futility our team was finally mentally prepared to start winning. And the last 3-4 seasons you've seen the results.

A punch in the mouth is always better motivation than just thinking your good at something.

Is this one of those "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" analogies.
