I worry about a noon kick at Vanderbilt next week after a loss like this, but Florida showed enough on offense today that they can go 3-0 against Vandy, LSU, and Mizzou.

Enter the bye at 6-1 and the East is still reachable. Tennessee still has to go to Georgia and A&M, and play Bama.

Really horrible coaching decisions in the 2nd half though.

Worst meltdown I have ever seen from a Gator team, and that includes the Choke at Doak.

No way this team is 6-1 at the bye. Not with coaching and execution like that.

We will tear Vandy a new a-hole and take down LSU, Missou and USC at home...leaving Arkie on the road as a possible pitfall...we need UT to lose 2 games....dont worry we still can go to Hotlanta.

LSU looks like garbage, Vandy is a dumpster fire, and Mizzou 's defense is nowhere near as good as it was a year ago.

If McElwain and Nuss don't crawl into shells at halftime, we're having a completely different conversation.

Again...its road games you gotta be careful of and Vandy Im not worried about...our team will have fire next week. LSU is a W...I've called it all during spring summer and now, UGA is weak and will try to throw 50 times in the WLOCP which isnt a road game. Missou ditto and USC just doesnt have the horses to beat us in the Swamp. Arkie is the game we have to win to be in the SECCG....the girls school isnt that special but its a road game and they have decent OL & DL.

Boxer, was it you that predicted UT would beat UF but UF would still win the east?

Yes.

EDIT: Pretty sure I did in one of the older threads on here.

I'm not giving up on this staff at all.

I don't like that the coaches got conservative in the second half, but the offense and the offensive coaches aren't to blame. The defense was a step behind their offense all game long.

They torched our secondary. Period. Just gotta move on

The hard part is Del Rio probably couldn't of played a better 1st half. Mac said they had a 2nd half plan and just didn't execute. I think we should've ran the 1st half plan again. Do we teach how to field a punt by chance.

What puzzles me is that there were ZERO deep shots to Callaway or Cleveland in the 2nd half.

None.

Tennessee couldn't stop any deep passes in the 1st half.

As far as the deep ball, I think the problem there is that they didn't have enough pass protection in the second half to allow someone to run down field to catch a deep ball.

That doesn't mean they had to give up all the passing stuff though.

I think we used the TEs better last year.

Well it would help if Lewis could catch.

I can't remember him catching a single pass this year. Hes dropped everything.

Really any sort of action on 1st or 2nd down would've done it. Just roll out on 1st down and try to hit Goolsby or Lewis. Something to keep them honest at least instead of letting them gear up on first and second down for the run and force you to throw on 3rd and long.

It could be a lot worse.

Just watch the LSU-Auburn game.

Okay, we're gonna destroy LSU. LSU might be the worst team in the SEC.

Isn't really much to say. Out played and out coached, really out classed by a division rival.

We'll never live down 38 straight points.

Well, for 364 days. Win the next one, and no one will care. Football giveth and taketh away like that.

Again, beat Vandy, LSU, and Mizzou, all VERY winnable games, and UF is sitting at 6-1 before heading to Jacksonville for the WLOCP.
