Correct. Hard to criticize the hire at this point, it's a wildcard.
Think Bell will be good, but worry about his lack of track record putting guys into the league. Torrian was a superb coach.

UF needs a dynamite coach who can train up the young secondary. Recruiters are great and all, but UF needs a good all around coach at that position or this year could get rough.

OTS I had to wade into the pool and bitchslap a couple of posters who whine like hell and post crap like "this hire better work out or I be ripping on Mac again" of course that made my blood boil

Think Slayer and I have the same outlook. Not complaining about either hire, just don't know much about them at this point. Hoping for the best.

He can't just force people to come to Florida, and the entire year I listened to people bitch about recruiting -- we land a strong recruiter ''but he better know how to coach.

I hate that Gray left this year of all years. Even if he wasn't an elite recruiter, he was an elite coach. Our young guys could've used some coaching up from him this year. Hopefully Bell can develop those guys nicely.

Straw you just need to chill the frick out.
He hired two guys that can recruit, and one unknown quantity, but it looks like the unknown guy has a lot of energy, so that is great and UF needed that on the OL big time.
But Gray was known as being one of the best position coaches in the game from a training stand point. This is a tough year to lose his elite training ability when UF has 6 new DB's, and probably 3 of them will need to play a lot this year.
If the new guy is not as good in that regard, it will hurt given the player turnover at the position.
That is not me pooping on the gators coach.

Supposedly one more move to be made...
Nord, Dixon, and Skipper contracts expired on the 31st. I would think it's either Nord or Dixon on the outs, may be both I suppose. We shall see.

Drew Hughes may be heading to South Carolina. Most UF fans will freak out over this, but it's not a huge loss.

I disagree, I think that would be a decent sized loss, depending on who replaces him.
