I was surprised that Malik Young got in for a visit because our admin checks everything on JUCOs and hard to even get them in for a visit unless everything T is crossed and I's are dotted. It is frustrating at times. Its only an insider report on Robinson at this point but it probably is true.

Sounds like Robinson cant catch a break because the way it went down. Glad Mac is trying to help him out but I think if he wants him he could have him. It was a misdemeanor charge that would be cleared before spring practice.

We allowed Demarcus "Bud" Robinson on the team guess how he got the middle name.

Mark Thompson was cited for the exact same thing in October along with two other citations still on the team missed a game.

Jordan Scarlett was cited for the exact same thing last year missed a game.

Lets not forget Lemons has got in trouble numerous times so much so he was kicked off of his high school football team.

Quote from Sticklin while at MSU on the Simmons punching a girl on video situation "5 Secs of a poor choice shouldn't preclude an individual from going to school" and they admitted him.

You are preaching to the choir...Robinson was issued citation and only has to pay a 97.00 fine. I think he could have had another incident we dont know about and thats why the school is doing this...its a shame and he is just a damn kid. You damn well he didnt fly up there holding pot...it came from OSU football players and thats what pisses me off.

Oh and our good friend TJ is the one flaming this shite on Rant...but on TOS it is downright shitty from some.

This is just a rumor but I read that Robinson had been given a one strike rule from UF based on past incidents and he may of had trouble on his UF OV as well with weed but not involving police. Again this is just a rumor my source is the same guy that said Blades was gonna decomitt and Herbert was going to Miami before both stories broke normally pretty reliable.

Yeah Robinson was already going to be a stretch due to grades, but I wish we could get him. It sucks for us as Gator fans but it really sucks when you consider this is a kid who's looking for his only way out and loses the opportunity to go to a school like UF because he doesn't get to school in time to receive the guidance he deserves. It's sad to see a kid throw away his life because he doesn't have the proper guidance and doesn't have anybody to take a chance to help him succeed. Anybody trolling this kid or making fun of him ought to be ashamed of themselves. This is a heartbreaking story for the kid, beyond him just not getting into a school. I'm proud that Jim McElwain is our head coach and is helping this kid land at a university to get an opportunity despite the fact that our administration won't let him get that opportunity here. It says a lot about Mac's character. I wish the best for James Robinson and hopes he can figure himself out.

That's really, really good news. That 3 star sleeper DE just committed to Kentucky too. (That's significant for us because it means the staff informed him there was no room for him, which is a really good thing)

Either that or they knew they couldn't get one in academically, and so, knowing that they wanted to go to school together, they said, no can do.

NSD will be interesting.

Interesting news on the Gaddy twins since both of them said less than two hours ago that they will be deciding between us and Maryland on NSD. Havent heard what you are saying yet but rumors I heard one wasn't going to qualify and they were a package deal.

DE Abule Abadi committed to Kentucky. Late target within last weeks for us.

Its out the Gaddy's are not being sent LOI like slayer previously stated. This could mean good news on a couple of other recruits for us or it could be one isn't going to qualify so we are just cutting ties now.

My only concern is that this goes public now and our solid silents that are supposedly filling these spots go elsewhere because no one ever changes their mind right. We will get big time crap for it from the media when in all reality the twins could've said if he doesn't come I'm not either and we were like sorry if we miss out on those other guys.

McElwain reportedly reached out to 18 coaches to try & help out James Robinson. That's a coach, and more so a man that I am proud to support

So is the thought that Robinson will go to a Juco and then possibly transfer to UF next year as long as he gets his ish together?

Ok...here's the scoop on several insider boards...Gaddys are indeed out...no room at the inn and its looks very favorable for UF to get Wyatt...along with Conliffe and Slaton..we still have a great chance of getting LaBryan Ray and thats why the Gaddys are no go. On top of that there are strong currents flowing that Levi Jones may sign with us also..we of course are making room for DBs and we may get two signed up that we really really want. That would be seven more at least and I think we get a surprise out of left field.

We will fill our needs and thats what is most important in all this..we are adding defensive help and already have some players now at WR and if we do sign Lemons...we will be ok. Next year will be the offensive side...OL is fine right now we should have 4 juniors 1 soph as starters and can add to that. Im excited as hell about NSD and by 2pm we will know whats happening. Our coaches have worked their tails off.

Rumph has worked on Wyatt for some time and his high school coach said it was an awesome visit and they were both impressed by the academics and the ability to get a great education here. Rumph and Shannon have worked on LaRay Bryan and his family for a long time.

Coach Mac is a special kind of coach that players love because he cares and what he has been doing to help Robinson speaks volumes...it would have been easy to just say sorry, but you shouldnt have gone up there and get in that car..etc etc...but he understands what Robinson is going through. I am very proud he is our HC.

The problem is you can only give a kid so many chances. Kid was on about his 15th chance:

You beat me to it reel Mac showed he really cared and it had stuck out to recruits. Class of 2018 WR Jacob Copeland was in love with Mac's support for Robinson on twitter.
