I believe the dead period will start around the 14th. Kirby will have signed the contract by then. And his parents are coming on his OV to our gala. If he cancels then I'll start to worry. Florida is a real threat though.

A few posts on the LSU board saying Franks is not flipping back to them.

So unless he changes his mind again in the next few weeks, hes probably a Gator.

Do you really see Franks staying if we flip Eason? I just have a hard time believing Franks would stay.

At this point, it doesn't matter.

We are definitely going to oversign in this class.

And with the current QB situation, McElwain must be aggressive and recruit 2-3 QBs.

After the game last night Mac was already talking recruiting. We will finish with a top class.

With the dead period starting Dec 14th a lot of coaches are hot on the trail of recruits. Its the most pressing need to continue success and set us up for winning in 2017-20.

Got to restock the fridge.

The Under Armour game has been held right here in my backyard and this year it seems the Army All American has the goods and especially with QBs. I remember not so long ago that I went and saw kids like VH3, Driskel and others play in the game here locally.

Signing day is only about 7 weeks away.

Eason Update:

He said as of now he is still committed to GA. He really enjoyed his visit to Florida. His high school QB coach recommends he come to Florida. He has a relationship with Nuss and really liked Mac. Smart is visiting him this week no OC has yet to be named by GA. We should know by the 14th where he is going since he still wants to be an early enrollee.

Mack Wilson said UF was still his number 1. I think he may be trolling us however.

Burns still has the Gators high on his list.

The staff is visiting a ton of recruits some that are already committed elsewhere. Lets see if we can become Flip U.

As of now the prized kicker in the class hasn't backed down a bit off his Bama pledge. He will be a hard flip.

I am not really enthused with any of your updates. Ah the ebb and flow of recruiting.

RB Mark Thompson received a fifth star on scout.com and is the #1 JUCO RB coming out. Good on him.

Dre Massey has been contacted by Muschamp and USC recruiter Bobby Bentley and he expects to meet with the coaches at USC later this week. Massey was originally High on USC and has a history with Bentley.

The talk is we are still likely to land Nate Craig Meyers even with his brothers decommitment.

We are monitoring a couple more kickers but we are waiting on Piniero to make his decision.

The current projection is out the 25 we have currently committed we will lose 4-5 of them. This is per Gator Country and their sources. I would think it would be a WR or two (Wells)and a defensive end would be a couple to watch out for.

Franks put out a video interview where he says he is sticking with the Gators no matter if Eason signs or not. We will see.

Hell...we dont get Pineiro then just go to some intermural soccer matches and pick up a kicker.

We are going to do well in recruiting...but Eason isnt in my mind nearly as ready to flip to us...hope Im wrong. NCM is a stud and that would be awesome....Tampa Catholic used to be 100 feet from where I lived and a lot of good talent from there over the years....wasnt that much when I lived across the street back in early-mid 1970s. Armwood & now East Lake are good targets for us. I know Tampa Bay area has a lot of talent for 2017.

Well....if I lived in the house as I once did...I could have placed large banner for NCM to see with GO GATORS in a 8' x 5' spread

Which ones would we be losing?

Like I said this is per Gator Country. Here is he link. LINK /

Since we are trying to sign 4 DE's and 1-2 DT's. It would only make sense that one would leave if we close with Manuel and Burns. I would think it is Bailey and Mitchell. But there have been rumors about the WR Wells possibly leaving if we get NCM and Nixon and Hammond was talking to Georgia but that was prior to the Richt firing. I could also see us losing CB McWilliams and S Lenton based on current commits and depth.

TCU TE commit Artyvious Lynn (6'6" 250lbs)was contacted by Randy Shannon this Monday. He is taking an official visit this weekend. He has only been committed to TCU for about a week. He intends on enrolling in his school in January. Here is the link LINK /

Other things I heard today:
- Bama feels like they solidified Eddy Piniero's commitment. We will start to look elsewhere.
- Javaughn Meyers NCM brother still has the Gators top on his list. But him and his brother are still gonna take other visits.
-Cowart is trying to get a medical hardship transfer from Auburn to be closer to his mother. Florida is his top landing spot. (This may just be rumor and nothing more)
-Eubanks has the Gators in his lead.

Its actually personal hardship and works for me...if that went down and he didnt have to sit out a year....we would have the makings of a solid DL....I mean brickwall solid.

He made a choice, let him live with it.

Shouldve been a Gator. Let him suffer at Auburn

Yeah I didn't know what one it was I know his mom is having medical issues supposedly. I will take him either way. He was duped by Muschamp and went to Auburn because of him. Kinda feel bad for the guy following the coach who most likely knew he would leave for the first HC offer that came around.

Looks like Eason is going to stick to UGA. It was fun while it lasted.

Feleipe looked really good yesterday and will be fun to watch at UF. He would be an immediate upgrade over Treon next year. Del Rio may have the leg up though.

As of today, I'm thinking UF signs 31 or 32.
