I need to be something.
Won't lie though does sound tigerish and I NEVER call someone out like that.
I've only seen Tigers refer to Spurrier as "Ol Ball Sack"
Listen I don't like what he did either, pisses me off, but I wont call him "Ol Ball Sack" just pretty churldish.

Agree with that. Don't think I've ever heard a Gamecock refer to him as that, regardless of how pissed they are over his final years.
It's a love/hate relationship with me for Spurrier. I'm grateful he displayed that it can be done here. On the flip side, I'm spiteful because before he left us with divorce papers, he took the TVs, beds, couch, recliner, fridge, washer, dryer, guns, etc... before we got home from work.

Meh I say let him stay. Let's me read what I thought in my head after 6 beers in the third quarter on Saturday. Very therapeutic

Please say Elliott office is cleaned out.
Got some news today. Solid source.
Shaun Elliott will be retained. Probably a 1 year contract, same money, no raise. Certain performance standards must be met. He's going to be sent to at least one, probably two, camps during the off-season. He's got some work to do but he will be back next season provided someone else doesn't offer him a way out which, FWIW, is something he is saying he would not be interested in ... he says, and I quote, "he is in this through thick or thin, for the long haul, and is not going anywhere anytime soon."
But he has to produce and so do the couple of GAs under him.
ETA: I should have included the phrase I was made privy-to, "he's been given a vote of confidence and told to concentrate on his recruiting ... not to worry about the talk."

And that is a down-vote of confidence for Muschamp.

I hope someone offers him $750k to get him outta here

Well, for what it is worth, and I just said goodbye to dinner guests who stayed late and afforded me this information .... Elliott was evidently claiming that the gossip was becoming an issue on the recruiting trail. Claims a couple of commitments have asked him if he will be here next season, or not.
Muschamp is intent upon holding this class together and adding to it with a strong close.
So anyways, take it for what it is worth ... we all went our ways tonight mystified by how well Elliott plays his political games. Gotta admit - he knows what cards to play and his timing is impeccable.
It will not help him if he fails to produce next season.

My question is can we afford to risk one more season with him?
I,for one, don't think so. But it's not me who has to make that decision.

Dude has pictures of someone doing something...
That's the only answer I can think of right now.

1 - Elliott could get a HC job at a small school somewhere, but if that's going to happen it will happen fairly soon.
Let's start a gofundme acct to pay Indiana to hire him.

I'd rather deal with every fricking tater fan on this whole damn site x100000000 dissing our team on our own board than this asshat..at least they don't hide behind the guise that they are fans of our team and are honest about who they are.

After losing to El-Cid last year, I don't know if a P5 school would take him as HC.
But, the way I see it is this... He now knows that his head is on a chopping block next season. Which means, for the sake of job security, he better either (A) take a coaching job elsewhere, if offered or (B) learn to frickin coach a competitive SEC OL.
I understand Muschamp is likely wanting to maintain some sort of semblance of continuity, but he's also risking his potential for success by holding on to a cancerous dead weight. We absolutely can not have another 6-6 season next year. Next year, we need to at least improve to 8-4. What makes it even worse is the fact that as of now, what looks like the stiffest competition on the way to an east title will be through Kentucky.
