Handcuffed? This is more like bondage.

Roper is more handcuffed by his Forrest Gump intellect and his autistic-like obsession with running certain plays over and over again in a single game than anything else, and Duncechamp's ultra-conservative mindset (his full retard fake punt playcall notwithstanding) certainly doesn't help.

Elliott is a cheerleading coach, and has never been much more than that and he should have been fired years ago. No sane person can disagree with that.

Alright so here is what I've been told this afternoon.

mUSChamp, when you are on his shite list, he ignores you and passes you giving you dirty looks.

I heard that's happening with a couple of people this morning during and after the meeting and before everyone took off to do "damage control" (sic) on the recruiting trail.

I kinda get the feeling that Elliott may be feeling some heat. Evidently something blew up about his sideline demeanor, or lack of coaching, last night.

I wonder who else may be on the list. There isn't any way on God's green earth that Elliott isn't if Muschamp has any fighting/winning spirit in his body. If he isn't gone either before the bowl game or immediately after, I'm done.

I know Bentley is a coach and has to remain objective, but as a father he has to be pissed bc his son is going to get killed if things don't change.

After enduring years of Spurrier's apathetic attitude towards glaring coaching issues, I might lose it if Muschamp doesn't do anything to get rid of Elliott this off-season.

It's not the only answer to help our situation but it's definitely the most obvious one I think.

I believe there are different dynamics in terms of recruiting which is why we won't see any immediate moves. Muschamp needs to figure out how to keep the OL recruits he has while also booting Elliot.

How he does it, I haven't the foggiest but I hope he figures it out soon.

Elliott was vising Dennis Daley last night. Honestly, I don't think we make a move with him this year. However, I do think that he is coaching for his job in 2017.

Are there any others that could be getting the silent treatment? The only other position that we showed signs of collapse toward the end of the season was from special teams. Some great moments, but then some really terrible ones, especially on punt and KO coverage.

There are several ways this could go down.

1 - Elliott could get a HC job at a small school somewhere, but if that's going to happen it will happen fairly soon.

2 - Muschamp let's everyone with one year contracts know that renewal time is coming ... and in the process he implies to one or two that they should give things a second thought, about what they want to do with their lives.

3 - Muschamp retains Elliott for another year for recruiting purposes ... but he lets it be known that there has to be massive improvement shown along the OLine.

4 - Muschamp waits until after recruiting season is over then accepts a resignation or two (while already having someone else ready to step into that/those positions).

If a move is going to be made, if someone is going to lose their job, then who or where they are recruiting will not matter. It never does. For instance, if Elliott were to be fired and he had a critical recruit or two on his board then Muschamp and other coaches would swoop in and cover that immediately ... and resell the school and the head coach and the incoming coach ... not the fired assistant coach.

Something very similar went down with McIlwain last year. GA Mangus was visiting with McIlwain very late in the process. Spurrier, Jr was doing similar things ... and we still kept almost everybody. We lost a couple of Whammy's guys I think.

Would like this. Means the sooner he's gone the better. But I also don't want him to leave thinking he did some great feat here. He was good for a few years, but recruited too many projects and didn't develop his players consistently, hence our current problems.

That is good to know. Gives me hope that Muschamp will move sooner than later. If we have a repeat of this year next season for the OL, I will shite a brick.

final tally on 2016 for the USC OL;

Sacks allowed = 36 (T-115/128)
Sacks/SEC play = 31 (14/14)

Tackles for loss = 92 (120/128)
TFL/SEC play = 72 (14/14)

2016 v 2015
Sacks: 36 v 26
SEC: 31 v 20

TFL: 92 v 69
SEC: 72 v 48

** our obvious snap count no doubt contributed to these results this season, as well as the clear issues with the OL.

That's just inexcusable quite frankly. That's pathetic.

All we were told preseason (and I called immediate bullshite on it after attending that closed practice) was that our OLine was the strength of this team.

Elliott is the second highest paid OLine coach in this conference at half a million bucks a year.

We have every right to expect far better results than he is providing us.

Elliott would make a hell of a cheerleader coach at 1/20th of his current salary. Hopefully Tanner hooks him up with the job in another 5 years when he and Duncechamp are done running our program into the ground.

Probably not, I'll let you guys circlejerk into oblivion about how Wreal Duncechamp is the best hire we've ever made, much like Florida did prior to Charlie Strong owning him the Sugar Bowl. It was only downhill from there, only this time the win vs. one of the most overrated teams of all time in Tennessee is our downhill marker. The Clemson game was just an exclamation point, much like Duncechamp's loss to Georgia Southern. Many D-II coaches would have coached our team better this year, only they're not part of the good ole boy fraternity of the SEC.
