Beamer gets two more years for sure.
You can't hire a new oc and not give beamer 2 more years.
His buyout is peanuts after year 4...

What if the offense next year is just as putrid? Do you still give him another year after watching 3 consecutive seasons of offensive failure or since we have SEC money do you end the experiment so that you don't dig a deeper hole?

Hate to say it but next year is looking grim.
1. New oc
2. Basically a New o line
3. Doty back at qb
4. Thin rbs behind Lloyd
5, Thin at reveiver
6, Thin at lb
7.Thin at Def line
8.Thin at secondary
This was beamers year to do something
I have no expectation beyond 5 wins next year,
He will get 2 more

To be fair, it’d be more like 6 consecutive years of horrific offense. Let’s not forget the Roper-Bobo years that preceded Satterfield.
That’s how you know Ray Tanner is a dumb shite - he didn’t watch what Satterfield did last year and tell Shane “Hey, I know you just got here and all, but this program and it’s fans have endured awful offenses for quite a few consecutive years. You need to get rid of Satterfield or you’re going to lose them in a hurry.”
Offenses can turn around quickly. Tennessee is proof of that. I just don’t have confidence Beamer can actually land a good OC because I don’t think he even knows what kind of offense he wants to run. He’s never been a play caller.

Rattler is not getting drafted after this season. Does he declare anyway, does he come back, does he transfer?
The idea of him playing here next year under a new OC is exciting, but I'm fine with him moving on too.

We need the top boosters to turn off the spigot and refuse to lift a finger until change is made.

Like we need to see how next week goes and then the bowl game. Tonights offense was not a pro style offense. Has Satt made changes, is Satt even calling plays.

I pray this thread blows up in my face. I really do.
If the same team that we saw tonight comes out against Clemson, I will be happy to burn all e-credibility I have and let this thread become the standard for freezing cold takes.
But I’ve been watching this team a long time. I know that one performance can’t outweigh an entire season and let it sway our mindset. I’m still hopeful I come out of this looking like the jackass, though.

I’ve never not felt like Beamer would not, or could not, get it done. I still feel like Satterfield needs to be fired, if nothing else, for last night. That was a completely different offense than we have seen all year. Just hope we found lightning and can replicate it next week.

a long way to go,but hell of a way to end the season going into recruiting. I think when we won 4 in a row we thought
you beat Mizzou, maybe sneak a win vs UF (who didnt look great all season) and UT and Clemson beat you. so 8-4. we would have taken that.
instead we get smashed by Mizzou and UF, and whip up on UT and Clemson. The better outcome with some momentum going into the offseason
