Cody was talented sure enough, and a hard hitter and player, but I think the scheme is what helped him become as good as he did. He would've never gotten to sign with an NFL team if he didn't play in the system he did at Ole Miss IMO.

And don't take that as me knocking Cody, I love him

This is so absurdly false.

Not like Vandy had a great defense. They ranked 73 to our 111. I bet if you gave us a first round lb like Cunningham and our defense would probably have been close to top 75 too.

Look at our 2014 defense vs our 2016 defense. Same exact scheme but in 2014 we had great players in the secondary and very competent players at linebacker and a better DL.

I don't think it's scheme OR talent. It's finding the right combination of the two

When Tom Allen goes to Indiana and they vastly improve in one year with the same players it points to coaching

When Alabama has a top D year in year out no matter who the D coordinator is it points to talent

If we trade schemes/coaching with Bama for a year then Bama would still have a better D because their talent is vastly superior. Trade players with Bama and we would have a better D because their (now our) talent is vastly superior.

But what makes Alabama the best is having superior talent in a good scheme that fits their talent

So Indiana is firing their head coach and they always suck at football anyway, and yet their current recruiting class is still ahead of ours. shite fuzzy.

There is plenty of evidence to the contrary.

I wanted to know what Hillary supporters felt like on Nov. 9th. I'm thinking I'm going to find out on signing day.

I don't think you will. They had the expectations that they'd win the election. We don't have any expectations for this signing class
