At first I assumed it was a ticky tack penalty that the ref should have issued with discretion. This video is proof that Mcgraw did an incredibly stupid thing. The guy sprinted across the end zone in fronf of the ref's face w/o his helmet on. I can't believe it, wow. The ref had no choice but to flag him for such an idiotic act.

There is a reason he doesn't play.

If he had taken 5 steps on the field, THEN i think it would've been a dumb flag but the kid went flying across the entire field right in front of the ref. Just unreal how stupid that is

Ya now that I see it...that def was a flag...as dumb as the rule is...I thought he might have just jumped up and down on the side of the field or some shite but he took off across the end zone.

So stupid.

It is inexcusable, but so is a coach making a play on an active ball.

Can't believe the refs didn't flag that.

Yeah, that was pretty blatant.

quote:

"That is deep for Rodrigo," Smart said a tad sarcastically about the 48-yard kickoff.

We all know our kickers suck but the head coach shouldn't say stuff like this to the media about the players.

That's probably my only complaint at this time about Smart. He's calling out the kids a little too much - that's something you shouldn't do IMO....especially with smartass comments.

I am fine with it. Saban does the same. It's honest.

Still didn't stop him from finding a way to hurt the team. That's actually pretty impressive, in a completely fricked up manner.

Of course, that bit is just the reporter editorializing, not reporting.

I found this article......talks about his injury but Smart says that wasn't what kept him out of the UNC game.

Dawgs need to Code Red McGraw by gluing his helmet onto his head ... backwards. Then make him run sprints back and forth across the field till he pukes.

Honest question, do you think McGraw knew there was time left in the game? I'm just wondering if these guys knew there was time left, or thought the clock ran out.
