Take a look at Bill Belichick's 1st run in the NFL.
Ensminger = new Bill Belichick
Thinking this Makes me not want to cry at night.

I find it shocking how people are denying this
The fans have suspected this for years, but never had any proof. Now, the players are confirming the suspicions.
Miles was stubborn as frick.

Also helps when you don't try to run up the gut every play with 6'3", 309lb DT slid down to nose guard that destroyed your highly touted center for most of the game.
I lost my mind at this. Of all the obvious struggles in the game this was the most glaring and it happened immediately, yet we still tried to run up the middle on most drives. frick that guy, Miles. Stubborn as shite.
Last year at Bama resembled the old Tecmo Bowl when the other team would pick your play. Fournette couldn't take a handoff without the whole D line camped out in the backfield.

103 of those yards came on 3 plays. The other 60 yards came on 16 carries. A little over 3.5 per carry

In his defense, Bama probably averages 5-7 yds/carry, and they get that everytime; no more, no less.

Miles' offensive philosophy was to have the same game plan regardless of opponent and opponents weaknesses or strengths.
That sounds like a lack of a game plan. I should've known this was why we sucked on offense, but I can still barely believe it

Nahhhh, just a little sarcasm bout how Miles wasn't giving the players what they needed from film, if I am understanding the quotes from the players.
The more I read the players quotes the more pissed I am to see how former players didn't live up to potential due in part from poor prep from the staff. And that is some scary shite considering who LSU has had come through the program the past 11 yr.

Since when did old ways involve not watching film of your opponent? Miles didn't start coaching 50 years ago.
They were watching film 50 years ago even....

Over Steve Ensminger? Sure. Take a gander at his last stint as an interim OC
You know I've yet to go through Steve's coaching history. Can the Bama fans give me a breakdown?

any team that lost to Les since 2012 needs to fired for losing to him

He took over for a similarly inept offense at Auburn in 2008.

To me this firing is different than any other mid season firings for reasons like this. Most firings is because the coach has recruited horribly and therefore cannot compete with other teams (at least in the sec). We have the talent and we still have a history of winning but with Miles the day to day preparations were lacking and not evolving which led to his demise. This team is loaded with talent and they know how to win. Couple that with a new coach who can successfully maximize that talent with more versatility/preparation and the sky is the limit.
that's just my .02 and the reason why I'm not upset with the midseason firing.

Think about what you're saying.
You're telling me Harris and elting had more time than any other qb I'm the country to work on passing the ball and they still are worst than any starting qb in the country
You're telling me you run a handful of plays and Harris and elting still can't perfect them?
Now you can understand better why a coach who had won a National title, two SEC titles and the highest winning percentage was fired 4 games into the season.
