Also helps when you don't try to run up the gut every play with 6'3", 309lb DT slid down to nose guard that destroyed your highly touted center for most of the game.

Cam Cameron was a NFL OC. I just can't believe that. Who doesn't watch film on opponents for game prep, do quality control on bye weeks, etc.?
Are yall serious? WE RAN THE SAME OFFENSE NO MATTER THE OPPONENT.

Yes, we watched film to correct our own mistakes, but it is clear through actual play on the field, and these two quotes from two separate players, that we did not watch film for the purpose of exploiting another teams weakness

It's most likely referring to watching and identifying opposing team's different weaknesses.

There wa sno doubting Les was stuck in his old ways. Love the guy but man was it time for a change. You cant get paid 4.3 mil a year to not change with the times.

Flipping this^^^^^

Les is a great coach who succumbed to hubris. There is no doubt in my mind that had he brought in coaches with different perspectives, and let them help grow this team in to a modern football squad, he would be giving another seizure inducing speech this upcoming Sat., dressed in purple and gold.

Miles' offensive philosophy was to have the same game plan regardless of opponent and opponents weaknesses or strengths.

You think about this somehow makes you better

Think about what you're saying. You're telling me Harris and elting had more time than any other qb I'm the country to work on passing the ball and they still are worst than any starting qb in the country

You're telling me you run a handful of plays and Harris and elting still can't perfect them?

It's easy to blame them now that they're gone. I'm guilty of that with Mike Shula and staff. But to not do the most basic game prep? Not a chance I believe that. That's a part of any coaching prep, at any level. Hell, they were doing it 50 years ago.

if you don't know where to throw it, it doesn't matter how much you practice passing.

if you can't read the blitz or coverages you get sacked. come on man!

Who is saying that?

The players are saying they did not plan around other defenses weaknesses and tendancies. Which is obvious. That does not mean they didnt "game prep." Our game prep simply revolved around running our offense no matter what

Over Steve Ensminger? Sure. Take a gander at his last stint as an interim OC.

But I'm sure that statement must mean I'm scared.

Shula was just hired since he was a Bama guy to ride out the probation and make sure nothing else stupid happened. He was never meant to be at Bama long term.

Fournette and Guice combined for:
19 carries, 163 yards; that's a shade under 8.6 yards per carry

Meh.

Anyone who watched LSU play saw the same game plan, regardless of the opponent. A wrinkle or two may have been thrown in occasionally, but even those were rare. These comments reflect that sentiment.

I find it shocking how people are denying this
