Probably the only positive from today's game.

He had 11 tackles, 3 TFLs, and a sack. Awesome to see him playing well.

He was shite in the first half, which tells me he needed a halftime speech to get his motor running, which makes me skeptical about his attitude.

I hope he continues playing like he finished, and we never see 1st Half Trent ever again.

He was great against UNC too. He's been about as good as any DL I've watched nationally this season.

don't have to worry about that with Trent. Kirby said in his pressed that no one plays harder or practices harder than Trent wishes more would work like him

If you pay attention they double and triple TT and run stunts on him. By being a big presence it should free up a linebacker to fill gaps or a DE with a good speed rush should capitalize as well. Stats aren't everything.

He seemed to be the only one fired up to play in the 2nd half.

It shouldn't. The whole team looked awful....at least TT got it worked out. Most of the others looked awful all day.

But it is normal. Sometimes players have a hard time getting motivated for teams like this when they have their SEC opener the next week. If we look bad next week, we can be concerned. Right now? Relax and see how the team handles it. The worst day on this board is the day after a game. We are either going to the playoffs or we will only win 4 games. No in between.
