40 fricking threads on GL and CMR and you start this piece of shite thread. Climb back in your hole and stay there for a long while.

Lambert sucks, but Dean just comes off like a petulant child who didn't get his way in that article.

Agreed, he's looked like shite every time he plays so I don't think he is a fit here. Let him walk and suffer with Lambert until something better comes along.

Insightful and well thought out thesis.

Great evidence and supporting outside sources.

Strong conclusion that really hammers home your opinion.

Regardless of whether Lambert is the best choice at QB, I've seen enough of the guy to last a lifetime.

All the fans who were so down on Hutson Mason must really be pissed off now.

Bobo and Richt were playing favorites with Mason last year. Didn't you know this? Richt has an issue with being loyal to the older players instead of putting the best ones on the field. Didn't you read this on the www last year? This year proves that Mason started only because of his seniority... Richt is at a crossraods, if he doesnt start the guy with the funny name from East Russia, then he is just doing it again. Fire that sonofabitch!!!!!

We better not need to use our backup quarterback much next year. Anyone else worried about our QB depth? I find myself wondering how these guys are better than our walk-ons.

Lambert's being bad doesn't magically make Mason more than serviceable. Using Mason as a placeholder really didn't do us any favors this year. Had we gone with Ramsey/Park/Bauta last year, we'd have known they couldn't deliver and tried to get someone who could (and still used Mason as a placeholder after learning that). As it is, we get to find out *this* year that we don't have a quarterback and just roll out a stopgap.

It's a lose/lose for the program and fans either way, though.

Get used to up and down QB play, if you haven't already.

Clearly it was known before this year...hence the Lambert transfer. Did you think someone that was successful at that position would just leave whatever school they were at? Most likely they would have to sit on the bench for the year. If they wanted to leave the program they were successful at to *maybe* start at Georgia. Seems like we ended up with the best case scenario. FSU was a more attractive option with the same issue for Golson and I'm not sure he would be any better than what we have.
