When did i say that?
UT had claimed 1 until 1998 then won the BCs.
Claimed 2 until '02 when they added '38, '40, and '50.
Claimed 5 until '05 when they added '67.

I would love for someone to add up how many national championships are claimed in totality by all division I schools and compare it to the total number of years college football has been played in the USA

Just want to point out, yet again, that Tennessee DOES NOT display 6 Crystal ball trophies in any facility.

I could be wrong, but I think I saw a killz thread trolling UT the other day that had something like an 8:1 ratio of up votes to down votes. That's when I knew that Phat Phil has singlehandedly put this board on tilt. And you're right, most on here have a mandingo-esque hate boner for UT...they can't stand the thought of the VOLS being good again.
