Ok! Where did the extra 5 championships come in.
Then because other colleges were claiming the early championships, Bama added the Rose Bowl Championships and the 1941, which I think should be deleted.
So 6 (Bryant's championships) + 4 (Rose Bowl championships) + 1 (1941) + 4 (Bowl Coalition & BCS) = 15.

Why are you so upset?
There are plenty of headlines from the 1920s and 1930s proclaiming the Rose Bowl winner the "national champion". Considering there was no standard, this era gets muddled with other retroactive claims. I've long held that I'm fine with the 10 poll titles Alabama has. With the Rose Bowl wins placed in the proper perspective.

Literally every major program has inconsistent claims prior to the poll era. Have you taken a look at what Michigan or Notre Dame claims? Settle down. It will be okay.
