Chubb was smart before he got to UGA it's the new ones who aren't I worry about. I have less than 0.0 worries about NC doing anything but 10's on campus.

Don't know if you remember David Hale (went somewhere to cover the Phillies & is at ESPN now) or David Ching( went to ABH & now at ESPN) before Seth but the Macon/Columbus paper has been the standard bearer for UGA info for years. I actually liked Hale more than Seth...

Hale was the best by a long shot. He moved to Delaware to cover the Phillies. Emerson seems to get lazy at times with his content. Maybe Hale just set the bar way to high?

Very True. Hale and Emerson are far and away the best beat reporters we have had in the past few years. I really liked Hale and I was sad to see him go but Seth has picked up right where he left off for the most part

Seth likes to take digs at us (especially when it comes to USCe), which i dont like. And is general apathetic vibe towards UGA atletics turns me off.
Hale and Ching were much, much better imo.

I'll agree with you about Seth being an a-hole at times but I think its sorta funny..I like a little sarcasm out of media people. It's better than some of the other beat guys' obvious homerism which doesn't exactly seem professional to me.
Hale and Ching were both awesome. No doubt about that. I still think Emerson does a good job delivering quality content rather than regurgitating click-bait like the AJC guys usually do.

Seth is good and deserves every bit of the praise.
Please do not give that kind of praise to the Macon Telegraph. It is AWFUL!!! Why Seth stays with them is beyond me. Your dead fish deserve to be wrapped in something better than the Macon Telegraph.
