Alabama may not be out of the playoffs mathematically but have very little chance.
While Alabama has offensive problems, their defense is not very good. When Smart left, Saban hired Pruitt and the defense stayed tough. Since Pruitt left for Tennessee, the Alabama defense has been less of a factor...
