But, define uppity. Exercising your rights can be considered "uppity". I just had charges thrown out two months ago for this exact thing.

Last night CBS's 48 Hours covered the Colorado story of a drunken former cop who killed his wife because she said that she smoked marijuana. The investigating cops covered up the murder even though the killer confessed.

Just saw you live in Lake Park. Very familiar with that area. I have been going down to Lake Octahatchee 3-4 times a year since 96 to fish. Fished Ocean Pond a handful of times also over the years. Played dozens of rounds at Francis Lake. I love my trips down there.

My posts have been critical of cops' frequent and brutal unjustified use of deadly force.
However, the cop in Arizona who drove his car into the criminal who was holding, and had fired, a rifle was 100% justified. The way the criminal was taken down was both unconventional and brilliant. No one was killed and the public was protected from an armed nut.
