As long as we keep the same production at RB, I would love this move if it's true. It's hard for me to want McClendon to do anything other than RBs as good as he's been here, but Brown will be solid as well and we should clean up in RB recruiting. Gurley, Marshall, Chubb, Michel, and Melvin Gordon have all been coached by our guys. That's a pretty dang solid list.

Excellent hire. I love B Mac at RB coach but he is gonna be able to pull some badass receivers now. Plus Thomas Brown has his own bragging rights at coaching / recruiting RB's.

If this one is true, I will be happy but also firmly admit that I was wrong. I thought for sure that Schottenheimer and Richt would find a proven WR coach to come in and leave McClendon in place at RB coach. However, having two young likeable coaches on staff can only be a good thing. Here's hoping this report is true.

One of the strongest guys ever to come through Athens is now going to be coaching a freak that will most likely break all his weightroom records...I'm hard!

Good that it broadens BMac's experience on the O side of the ball for the future and brings a DGD home.

He has coached WR's before. It will give us one of the best recruiters going after WRs as well. With Lilly/Schott/Sales, this gives us very strong recruiters on the Offensive side.

Also saw where we hired a "quality control" guy for special teams
