That's because so many kids live in Florida and apply to UF. They can only accept so many kids, so of course the ones with the highest SATs and GPAs are going to be accepted.

Dawgs eventually are gonna have to pay athlete-students as employees of the University of Georgia and when those days come & the sizzle fades the school is gonna amount to jack shite.

Honors classes get extra .5 and AP classes extra 1.0.
4.4 gpa would be making all A's in honor classes and occassional B in AP class.
Thats how it worked 20 years ago.
