Probably to prove a point or something sadistic like that. I really don't understand why wanting to be left alone besides a few chosen outsiders is turning in to such a problem. It's not like the people who post on this board do not understand how to navigate the site and find the SEC Rant if they desire to view the opinions of others/ content related to the other SEC teams.
I also don't understand what the end goal is, pretty pathetic no matter how you slice it up.

Where did I imply that it was my decision? It's not like I am the only one who feels this way, as a matter of fact I would say that the majority of the posters on this board share my sentiments.

That's exactly what happened, actually.
Ice Cold was crying about Jefferson's crying so I suggested that if it bothered him he should actually do something about it instead of contributing to the problem. He whacked all the comments and anchored it as an extra "frick you."

Admin knows most of the UGA posters don't go to the rant very much. They wanted to make sure all our posters knew that they wanted our input in their power rankings for baseball. On the off chance there are some serious UGA baseball fanatics that don't go to the SECrant very often, they wanted to make sure everyone here got a chance to throw their hat in the ring to be part of the rankings. They were trying to do something nice.
They did it on every single team board.
Only on this board did people start throwing temper tantrums, it's completely embarrassing.
It got locked and stickied because I suggested it, actually. It will go away Tuesday.

From reading your post and their response to it in the deleted thread this was my understanding as well. That was the thread on the Help Board that got deleted and the locked and stickied thread on this Board had all of the posts in response to the OP deleted. It wasn't presented as a shot at the Board but as a means to try to appease everyone by not stirring things up any more than they had already been stirred up. Whether it accomplishes that goal remains to be seen.
One of the sad casualties of all this is that the pic of the hot chick that dallasga6 posted in the locked and stickied thread ended up getting deleted as well.

They 2 UGA voters. There's plenty of UGA posters that frequent the SEC rant and could help them out. No need for it here.
