Can yall imagine the battles between LSU and Bama if somehow, some way, we can convince Shaka Smart to come to da bayou
That would be epic. Rivals in 2 different sports.
I think Saban vs Miles is going to become the new Hays vs Shembeckler. Would love to see our basketball teams have a rivalry as well.

Usually when Mitchell was too busy crying to actually play defense.

Smart wouldn't leave VCU for Maryland. Why in the hell would he go to LSU?

Losing to South Alabama would trigger a meltdown. How are you coping these days?
We've moved on.

More upside. If the basketball was more successful the university would dump money into it just like football. Way more than Maryland could afford to.
Just my thoughts. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Of course I never do.

Lulz....
Not to mention the close proximity between VCU and Maryland.

maybe he'd be willing to take 2 million we have a new facility and the PMAC is slightly less dumpy than in years past thanks to upgrades. We can get recruits, that's a fact. We just need someone hungry to win.

That could be a detractor honestly. Changing jobs to a closeby school can sometimes cause distractions off the court.
All depends on the coach.
All depends on the coach.

Lol ... Maryland is a basketball school. LSU, not so much.

A basketball school that obviously didn't put forth enough effort to draw him away. LSU is like Bama though, we throw money at coaching problems and they disappear.

A day later and this loss still hurts. frick that guy for hitting that shot. And frick Tyler Adams for flicking off the student section.

There was no way Bama was going to stop that play. Georgetown played the defense perfectly. No matter what Releford (I think he was guarding the shooter) did the GT player was going to get a good look. Bama just had to hope he didn't knock down the shot.

When did this happen?

During the second half at different points. I don't even think that fatass played.

This. That was just an amazing shot. We were helpless to watch. Kudos to their coach for drawing up the absolute perfect play.
It's tough, but I'm not in that much pain after this loss. We had a lot of upside late in the game. Coming back was pretty awesome there the last 2 1/2 mins.
