Probably not with Mullen, but UF is more likely to win the division than any east team, long term, same as they have won the division, yet, more than any other team.

This right here. It's going to be fun, just like last year.

The East is complete dogshit. It’s just UGA and UF for the foreseeable future.

That would probably be South Carolina. They have less talent than both, yet their coach has a better record against Kirby than either.

I don’t understand this Tennessee hype. I really don’t.

I remember these EXACT. SAME. ARGUMENTS. back when Butch won 9 games, two seasons in a row. To top that, he recruited at a top 10 level. That talent was there for Pruitt after Butch tanked.

Let’s see Pruitt have a few more decent seasons before we put them on Florida or Georgia’s level.

2-33, 24-7, 17-13, the Gator bowl, and Tyler Baron suggest otherwise. Know your place.

?

I’d much rather have our DL class. As would everyone in the country.

Also, Justin Rogers says hello.

I fully agree with Todd Greene......The Vols will have a say in the East this year....it has been a long time coming.

You're really gonna argue a kid who's dad is on the coaching staff at Tennessee is a sign of Tennessees rise?

How about a 6 game winning streak against a bunch of teams that would have beaten us previous years?

We will have one of the best O-lines in the SEC and our defense is no slouch either. People sleeping on VOLS this year are blind to their biases. Pruitt has turned this roster around quickly and has done it the right way, starting with the trenches. We will be thinner at WR but we have depth and experience all across the board otherwise. We get to play Arkansas and UGA has to play Bama this year as their cross-divisional so that could help us.

If we can beat UF we have a good shot. BUT...that doesn't happen very often and UF will likely be top 5 when we play them

Well I'll certainly give you that. Tennessee finished strong. I haven't looked I just thought listing Baron was silly smack.

The last 3 seasons Georgia has the most wins of anyone in the East.

Kentucky and Florida are tied in second.

Not Tennessee.

frick off Vawls. Its not the 90s.

UGA 43
UT 14

UF 34
UT 3

Anyone who thinks the Vols are competing for the East this year is either ignorant or being willfully stupid. Their best win was by one point against Indiana. They also have no QB. The East is about UGA and UF. The best thing for Tenner fans is to hope Pruitt can continue to improve the program and perhaps someday in the future they can be serious contenders.
