These guys are apples and oranges.

Lawrence seems to have more physical talent, and you can make a statement about him having maybe a higher ceiling.

Burrow on the other hand, seems like he's plug and play. He might not improve much... he might not need to.

What makes Burrow some elite QB and why do you think he is the shite?

- On pace for somewhere between 5,100 and 5,500 passing yards, which would be an SEC record and put him in the top 10 all-time in NCAA single-season passing yards.
- On pace for 52-55 passing TDs, which would be an SEC record and would be top 4 all-time for the NCAA.
- Currently has the highest season completion percentage in NCAA history.
- Currently has the second highest season passer rating in NCAA history.

He’s literally having one of the greatest seasons in the history of college football.

Burrow - 291 comp / 369 att / 78.9% / 4,014 yards / 41 TD / 6 INT / 203.7 rating
Lawrence - 190 comp / 279 att / 68.1% / 2,575 yards / 27 TD / 8 INT / 171.8 rating

That’s why we “think he is the shite”, idiot.

Y'all are frickin ridiculous acting like y'all know every damn thing and like y'all run shite because LSU is finally relevant lol

Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize this was the ACC Rant. Take that shite to the group of 6 board.

ETA : I should add that I think Lawrence is a really good QB. But I can’t understand how anyone can write him off as just “better” than Burrow like it’s some foregone conclusion.

Until he’s 74.

We will bring Burrow out when he’s healthy and at least 40.

It wasn’t too long ago that your team was only known for “Clemsoning”

And y’all almost brought it back this year

Clemsoning is what they will do against LSU in the semis this year as Joey Heisman torches that ACC defense

The couple times I have seen Burrow I think he just seemed to make all the right throws. But he is what two years older than Lawrence and he is a coaches kid probably a little more polished right now.

Lawrence has an awful lot of tools but needs to develop a little more.

The kid that I like, I would rather have Lawrence and I’m glad we got to him, but I like that kid at Ole Miss. Haven’t seen him enough to know if how he would translate into the NFL but I like that kid too. He’s was fun to watch.

I doubt his skill set will translate to the NFL (unless he changes position) but that kid is going to be a problem in the SEC for the next couple of years.

Yeah I only saw him play once but I thought this kid may cause some headaches for some DC’s the next few years. I’ll be sure to watch the Egg Bowl just to see him

Love Joe to death but Trevor is a generational NFL prospect.

Why? Because he's tall?

Maybe the NBA is chock full of generational NFL QB prospects?

Because he can make every throw, big arm, quick release, makes his progressions, mobile, accurate and throws well on the run if thats not enough you can just listen to NFL scouts.

Plumlee’s future is in baseball. If he’s smart; he won’t play that much more SEC football and risk his chances. There’s a lot more money to be made and a lot longer career to be had in MLB.

Which of those things does he do better than Joe Burrow?

Which ones?

The ones saying Burrow’s #1 overall?
