I'm ok with a coaching change, but I'd rather finish 8-4 or 9-3

I don’t buy that.

It’s hard to defend a position that is almost at an accepted level on this board ( that Gus should go, yesterday), but I think he’s built enough capital to get some time. Becoming this reactionary seems a little careless for the long term health of the program.

I will ban myself. Thanks.

Not excusing those people, but I’d be willing to bet that’s just Message board fodder and they were cheering for Auburn during the game.

I hope so. The game wasn’t perfect by any means, but many of the issues people have been complaining about were addressed.

I was able to be there in person and saw the team play hard, and probably salvage a bowl season. This isn’t where we hoped they would be but I’m glad to see they haven’t given up after some tough losses.

Gus is your guy then. I’d rather have an 8-4 and then have a coaching change, but we know that won’t happen.

Dont think anyone is against the team per say. Just against the coach that puts the team in horrible positions to win. Only has 5 plays and refuses to adjust to anything.

he has had since 2013. His tendencies are there. You cant miss them. If you can accept his downfalls, by all means keep him. However I cant take another season of blown half time leads, personnel blunders, lack of player development, and offensive meddling.

Its time for a change. Amd as we all know, Gus is too stubborn to change

Was there a game today?

I went camping with kids. Auburn football non-existant for me until August 2019.

Is that one stubborn coach that always blows the halftime leads still around?

I agree, but I can't see punting him with the buyout if he gets to 8 wins this season. Even it is assures a similar reality next season or the season after that...

Sports are entertainment. There is nothing entertaining about watching stubborn Gus go 8-4 year after year for me.

I used to be a season ticket holder. Now I barely even watch the games. He has killed my enthusiasm, sadly.
