Our LBers don't fill the gap like they should. By the time they react the RB is already got a head of steam and has 5 yards.

Lorenzo Carter, Bellamy, Roquon...even Parish...we're seeing what they meant for the defense.

We've got super talent on defense but some of the guys especially at linebacker are true freshmen.

No pash rush. Backup DL getting pushed around. Crowder should be on the sidelines. Young guys out of position. They just look uninterested and yet we’re up 49-7. We’re spoiled

If you mean Parish...yes but he was like a little linebacker playing corner. Good against the run.

No, but in our defense most of their pass plays have been quick passes or screens. They haven't given us a lot of time to sack them

Not sure but to be fair their QB doesn't exactly sit back in the pocket.

MTSU has given up 10 sacks in 2 games with 6 to Vandy and 4 to UT Martin They are one of the worst tackling teams in the country and their kicker has already missed 3 kicks this year.

Stole this from the game preview thread. Somebody has been getting to their QB. I doubt they changed their whole offense for this game.

Exactly. They've gotten the ball out quickly in all 3 games.

Peay - 13 completions, 61 yards
SCarolina - 31 completions, 281 yards
MTSU - 20 completions, 130 yards

Not sure what they were doing in previous games but they've been running the ball a lot and the QB has been rolling out a lot this game. They've been hitting on quick passes and not taking a lot of deep shots. That isn't a very good recipe for sacks.

I'd be more concerned if the QB is sitting back in the pocket with all day to throw the ball.

Not sure how much point there is in getting the #3 QB in the game. Would rather just keep getting Fields some experience with reads.

Let's face it, if both Fromm and Fields went down, might as well shutter whatever is left of the season at that point. We would have zero chance in SEC title game...assuming we made it there...with Downing at QB.

Yeah, I don't want to watch this Wyoming kid pass the ball off anymore.

Exactly! Fields needs all the work he can get.

We really need to schedule a little better competition. Our defense needs the work instead they’re just going through the motions. Take a hangover to Columbia next week and it could be UGLY.....
