For me, on the University of Alabama campus, where there are a number of nice new buildings, using the classical Greek architecture, I'll go old school for the most beautiful in Bidgood Hall, The Business School.

Meanwhile, the ugilest is probably the 15 sided, (that's right, 15, and not even symmetrical), Biology Building. So ugly, no one even wanted their name on it.

What are your favorites, most disliked?

Let's keep this to the academic buildings, we all know what your stadiums, coliseums, etc. look like.

My least favorite:

Welsh Humanities Building

My favorite was always the Caroliniana Library, it doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is quite nice.

UGA:

Best:

Anything on North Campus really.

My personal favorite North Campus spot is the main library.

Best of the new stuff we have built (New Terry)

No picture of the full product yet, they're finishing phase 3 (the lower half of the picture) right now.

Worst:

Whoever decided to vomit the 1970's on South Campus

But for this I'lll say a tie between Chemistry and Biological Sciences.

Most Disliked:

Dorman Hall

By far the worst building and of course it is right next to DWS...

Best:

Industrial Education

Something about this building has always peaked my interest. Oldest building on campus and it is hidden. So unless you know where it is you probably won't find it.

Lloyd Ricks

This one is hidden in plain site, literally. I bet 7/10 State Student's would not recognize the name or this building yet it's right next to DWS. Lloyd Ricks is my favorite Building on campus.

Of course I perfer the older buildings. I could've put Lee Hall or Old Main or the Union on here. But I figured I'd show 2 buildings most people on here probably haven't seen.

Biology Building.

That one is pretty terrible. Ferguson before the remodel was easily worse, though. Damn, that was an ugly, ugly building.

Its only redeeming quality was that the ATM on the outside would let you take out $5 at a time, which was exactly the cost of the lunch buffet and a drink at Ryan's 30 years ago. Or two six packs of the cheap beer.

For AU it's definitely Samford/Haley IMO

For my "other" school, it's probably the same building, which just happens to be the only building I really ever spent much time in

Exterior sucks

Interior is pretty pleasant

Anything built in the late 60s and 70s fits the ugliest category on any campus. It had to be the effects of the LSD generation.
