It's not going anywhere. In fact, the biggest threat to the game is the contingent of soft imbeciles trying to do things like remove the kickoff.

And I am absolutely going to encourage my son to play if I have one. It'll be his choice, but I would be proud of him playing.

Every parent has choices to make regarding their children.

In my own experience, my son learned a whole hell of a lot more about being a man on a football field than he learned playing any other sport.

He suffered a dislocated shoulder and had to have surgery on his hand - but he played the final games of his Sr year with a damn club on his hand because nothing was going to keep his arse off that field.

I stopped reading with the "nothing is changing, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain"

College football is more fun for everyone when Ole Miss is good.

3 hours 5 minutes

Average length of NFL game:

Average length of NCAA football game

Soccer.

Seriously, you’ll see the money going into football be focused on basketball and baseball. We’re already starting to see some of that with new or revamped facilities across the SEC.

But, you will also see an increase in soccer spending and popularity due to its global brand. It is a gold mine.

Also-football has more than 10 years left. At least 20.
Don't soccer players get more concussions than football players?

Wrong,

its going down.

1. Millennial Alumni will not spend the money or invest back into their school

2. Current Alumni are going to stop the support at the rate its been. Cost are getting to out of hand.

3. The Thugs are taking over the sport and just like urban cities, Nike, Rebok, and Adidas will be replaced with FUBU wear.

4. Shcutz and Rydell helmets will be replaced by MO-HAIR and ALL AMERICAN WEAVE

5. New Players will request Golf carts with 22" Rims to bring them from locker room to the side line and back during the games.

Its sad, so many things to list. But College football is on its way down.

I like how you led in with two solid points. You grabbed the reader's interest. You then proceeded to troll with stupid racist stereotypes that could be found in a "In Living Color" sketch. Nice job. 6/10

That maybe true, however both the NFL and NCAA games have half time included. The actually playing time is much shorter....

It’s not as hard as you think.
I’m Saints fan and if they aren’t doing well I don’t follow the NFL at all.
There are other things in life to enjoy during your free time.

If I’m not mistaken soccer games are 2 hrs.
Another reason why the sport is catching on with younger fans.
All action.

Maybe high scoring isn’t the best thing for sports.
I’ve always enjoyed the defensive aspect of college football especially in the SEC.
