At Alabama, it's roughly 25% of every incoming football class. Additionally, there are even more that will go into coaching at all levels, supporting staffs, broadcasting, training, and even agency, where their time as an athlete provides a base of knowledge, networking, and authenticity.

It's a great base for those who wish to pursue a career in sports related fields. For the others, it's a path to a free education in whatever other direction they choose.
