I am not fully back on the Gus Bus but I am running alongside it with a smile on my face and enjoying this season so far.

My question is this:

What can Gus and this team do to impress you over the next 4 weeks?
What will it take to gain your confidence?

21-28 point wins on the road 3 straight times?

Or is this a "wait and see" until georgia and bammer no matter what we do to everybody else?

UGA & LSU. Win those & I am back on the bus. Still standing near the front but back on at least

Beat UGA and LSU, be very competitive against Alabama. Win the bowl game. I don't care who it is.

Could give a frick about margin of victory except for this week. 2-1 against the Big 6 works for me

Continue to develop an intermediate passing game. Be less predictable with the run plays. Try not to panic on game days.

For Gus to do all of the above against a good opponent.

We'll end up losing to UGA and Bama anyway. It will be fun while it lasts though.

Beat who we are supposed too, and beat UGA. If bama beats us that's just the state of affairs right now, but we need to make them earn it.

I can't take losing to UGA again.

So, the summary of most of the first 12 responses (not all of them) is that -

Gus can only screw up more by losing to LSU/Ark/A&M.
If he wins all three, so what...we expect that at Auburn.

If he wins vs uga or bammer we are happy.

Gotcha.

In all honesty, that is exactly where my feelings are as well. Our program should be at a point where in an SEC down year, we beat everybody but the top teams and then go at least .500% vs those. Split with bammer and georgia, I am good too.

Not a naysayer, but the big games are the last two conference games. We just haven't shown the ability to beat teams we aren't supposed to beat under Gus. I'll accept a loss over the next 3 games if it means we get a win against UGA or Bama

Margin of victory really doesn't concern me. He pretty much has to win out for me to be happy. 4 straight losses to either Georgia or Alabama is unacceptable. It doesn't matter that Alabama has a unprecedented run, bla bla bla...

I think as long as Stidham stays healthy, there are no excuses. For years, it was no defense... FIXED. Then it was no QB... FIXED.

The time to win big is now.

You better get comfortable running because this bus is no longer making stops and letting new riders on. We will see you at the final stop celebrating our NC!

Gus can impress me by winning every game over the next four weeks.

Winning in Tiger Stadium convincingly can gain my confidence. We don’t play in Jordan Hare again until November. We have to show we can win on the road.

Doesn’t have to be blowouts. Just show that we aren’t going to fold down the stretch.

If we lose to LSU or A&M, I’m right back on the “fire Gus” train because it’d be another disappointing season that’s just like 2014, 2015, and 2016. If we can’t beat LSU and A&M this season, we sure as hell aren’t going to beat Georgia or Alabama.

I don't care if we drop one of the next three if it's close and not some coaching atrocity. Would really like to finally beat lsu in BR, golden opportunity, they'll never be this bad. Shouldn't lose to Arky. A&M will be our most decent challenge in awhile at that point. If the game is competitive and we lose close, ok. I've given up on an intermediate middle-field passing game, slants, hooks/curls etc and using the TE, I'm done. But I will be on that damn bus no matter what if we:

BEAT UGA

Just beat Georgia. The dogs are already fricking annoying as piss at work. I want to be 10-1 going into iron bowl. 9-2 as long as it's not Georgia we lose to and I'm still ok. Not thrilled but happy after the way it started.
