Talk out of Clemson is that they are now Bama's daddy

What is funny is one of your own is owning you now

This is from an university who may be even more insecure than Ramma Jamma no name Alabama

Playing neutral site games against Power 5 opponents to open the season has worked like a fricking charm for them. The question isn't "When will Bama play a true OOC road game?", it's "When will everyone else learn from that example?" Some SEC teams are already doing this. The rest need to catch up. I personally love that we're doing a h-&-h with Stanford but I'd be pleased as punch of we did, say, a neutral site game with Duke or some other private school that doesn't have 10 times our student body.

Hell, I'd take Ohio State in Dallas.

Edit: It does kind of piss me off that we scheduled a road game at ND without a reciprocal home game, though. It's not like we're desperate for recruiting help. Kids watching that game will come away from it thinking that see Vandy play reminds them of how much they'd like to go to Stanford.

Good for them. They played a hell of a game and deserved to win.

He is 1-1 against Alabama. If that is your definition of "owning" someone then more power to you.

It feels good to be the king. They are enjoying it at the moment. I have no problem with it.

Now, having said that, Clemson is about to take a nose dive back to 9 wins and Alabama will probably make the CFP. Again.

I wish you guys would take that 2019 game with Duke off our hands,

Hey, I'd be happy to. Didn't even know y'all were playing them. Looking it up, it's the Chik-fil-a game, right? We don't have the brand power to be the sponsor's first choice, so if they offered, I'd take the game regardless of who we played.

Why don't you like it? No, they're not an elite program, but Cutcliffe is helluva coach and could give Bama a real game of it. Nowhere near enough talent to last, so it'll likely end up a blow-out, but I can see them giving y'all a nerve-wracking first half, at least.

But on a real note, we've played every blue blood in the country besides Nebraska in the last 10 years.

Start adding Oklahoma.

We know who you are. Even if you are a Clemson troll (which you are not) beating us once is admirable so congrats but we are the pinnacle of power in college football. Maybe you will get back to the playoffs again this year, I am pretty confident we will be there. You should be content for a second place west finish. That would be great for O in year one.

Because our OOC that year completely blows. Duke would be a good #2 team, but it looks like they will be our primary OOC game. Right now, we have Duke, New Mexico State, and Southern Miss as our OOC. We'll most likely add another shitty team to play in November. No one is excited about that schedule.

I'll give you that. We have lower standards for football excellence.

Vandy and Bama are two very different football worlds, aren't they? Y'all are a small-town girl living in lonely world and we're a city boy born and raised in west 5 Points. You will win and we will lose, and UT was born to play the blues.

Wouldn't a home game be more profitable?

No.

Bama got 6.5 million last year, prior to expenses.

I am guessing a big ticket game at B-D is >$100, so figure 10,182,100 in revenue at minimum, just for tickets. The profits are almost the same. The advantage is location and a constant rotation of opponents

Don't forget the recruiting benefit.

Be glad ND can't book the Titan stadium and schedule one of their off-site " Shamrock Series" home games with Vandy. SEC and Big 12 TV contracts prevent those shenanigans, but ND does it everywhere else. They control all the tickets and NBC has the TV rights.

i don't think you know anybody in Clemson or who went to Clemson.

if you are saying Clemson is 'insecure', what does that even mean. lol

thinks this indicates that people don't view the SEC as competitive, if you are confident that Bama will be back in playoffs.

there is this loser UNC fan who talks a lot about Clemson even tho he has no connection with it. i don't think i've heard any Clemson alumni or fan say 'Bama is Clemson's biatch'. the two programs rarely play each other.

I only talk about the lake on threads about college campuses and then losers like you bring it up all the time on other threads. it is not my fault that my mentioning of a lake in Clemson makes you mad.
