Also, pretty sure Simmons had something to do with the Bo Davis fiasco, so if we landed him, we prolly would have been in some legit NCAA trouble. Kids a baller though, but we dodged a bullet there.

Also, there's the domestic violence issue with Simmons beating up that woman. After the Jonathan Taylor fiasco, Saban probably wouldn't have been able to keep him anyway.

Tony Brown is one of my favorite players. He's messed up, been in the dog house, but he didn't quit. I respect the hell out of him for sticking with it.

An official visit to Alabama is in the works for newly-minted five-star defensive end Eyabi Anoma, and there is a strong feeling in the recruiting community the Baltimore St. Frances standout will wind up with the Crimson Tide.
However, the 6-foot-5, 230-pound prospect said that is not the case.
In addition, Amona spoke about where Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and UCLA all sit with is recruitment. He also gave his thoughts on Alabama.
Anoma is the No. 20 prospect in the 2018 class. He is also the No. 2 defensive end in the class.

Alabama remains in the hunt for the nation's top slot receiver, Jaylen Waddle, who announced his top six on Sunday night.
Along with the Crimson Tide, Florida State, Oregon, TCU, Texas, and Texas A&M made the cut for the Bellaire (Texas) Episcopal product.
Waddle emerged as a top target for the UA staff heading into the summer, only to solidify his standing after two stellar camp performances in June and July.
Last month, the four-star receiver caught up with BamaOnLine following is return from Tuscaloosa.
“The competition, that was my favorite part out there," Waddle said. "It was different, way different. I liked how the Bama guys held each other accountable."
Tide wide receivers coach Mike Locksley watched Waddle play on Friday night. Alabama also had the 5-foot-9.5, 175-pounder in attendance for its season-opener against FSU.
Waddle told BamaOnLine last month that the Tide would receive an official visit, the date of which has yet to be set.
The U.S. Army All-American is rated the No. 11 receiver and the No. 67 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
The Crystal Ball currently reads in favor of Alabama at 33 percent.

Chris Rumph was underwhelming as a recruiter at Alabama. But looks like he's going to be a thorn recruiting Miller to Florida.

With Texas not doing amazing right now, I could see us flipping Coburn. I think we will pull out a good dline class when all is said and done.
