I won't be around for a while today. We are going to the annual open house for the abandoned ghost mining town, Silver City, Idaho.

They are opening the buildings that have been staged to represent life back in the 1900s.

I'll be back for kickoff though.

It appears Bobbeh Williams has taken the job as Huffman's Special Teams coach

I hope so. It's only 70 miles away from my house, but Google says it is going to take an hour and 53 minutes to get there. Apparently the last 20 miles are gravel road.

This Slade TD pass... not sure if 66 is the LT or the TE, but I wish we could get our OL to block this passionately.

Were they the team from a few years ago that kept taking cheap shots? Or was it a different Carolina?

Yep. They played dirty as hell.

66 LT, 77 LG

Nice play design. They know everyone is focused on Slade. Easy misdirection screen for a walk in TD.

Any Texas A&M commits we want?

They're redefining meltdown.

Actually, our staff is/was supposedly VERY high on DL commit Max Wright. They thought we had a decent shot before he committed to A&M. Might be one to keep an eye on, especially if Texas also struggles. If he leaves Texas, we should have a very good shot.

After aging-out in Florida, Miami defensive back commit Josh Jobe transferred to Cheshire (Conn.) Cheshire Academy from Miami (Fla.) Columbus but that hasn't stopped some of the nation's top programs from trying to lure him away from the Canes.

Michigan and Alabama have been pushing Jobe to take official visits and take a closer look at their programs. Jobe is working on planning those visits but there are no dates set in stone.

Miami's coaches are completely confident that Jobe is 100% locked in.
Personally, I think he's trying to pick up a few bags from you guys and Michigan...and whoever else he can get in on some action. He's just playing the game.

Tyson Campbell is still open though. Miami is the most likely landing spot, but honestly I can see him going to Bama or UGA. Which sucks because he might be the best DB in the country. Dudes got the athleticism of Patrick Peterson, and thats not an exaggeration one bit.

You are literally the only person I've seen say this across all four recruiting services.

Two of them apparently. Kind of a random post to do that to.

Okay, downvoters, you got me. So Max Wright is NOT very good, I guess?
